Gahhh... first Phoenix Wright fanfiction I've written. I've written fanfictions in the past, and they turned to comedy when I turned 11, but I'm still working on how to improve them. But this is an idea I came up with sometime during Creative Writing class, and I decided to follow it up. I'm happy with the idea, but I'm not exactly sure how I should start the second part...

I will have to say, don't expect this to be updated consitanty. I would say that I will probably put up part 2 before 2010. That all I can promise. Because I always have problems with writing and I'm writing poetry all the time now for Creative Writing (soo.... hard...)

Summary: Title explains all. Phoenix gets a permit, but he needs lessons, but he’s cheep. OH NO A BAD PLOT! :B

Phoenix sat at his desk. The teacher droned on while her pupils text messaged each other loudly. He sighed and slid further into his chair. This was the third time that the teacher had talked about intersections. He couldn’t believe that Larry had actually passed the class years before.

“Now that I’ve gone over everything, you are ready to take the test. Class dismissed.” A hundred chairs screeched as they slid across the cold tiles. And Phoenix took his place in line to take the test.

Driving Lessons- Part 1

“NICK!” Maya and Pearl waved from the bike rack. She was leaning on Phoenix’s bike – his only mode of transportation. Not for long.
“Hey, Maya,” Phoenix took his driver’s permit from his pocket, “guess what I got!”
Maya snatched the picture from him. “Ah, your picture sucks. You’re blushing.” Maya inspected his new, shiny permit. Pearl punched Phoenix hard.
“Well, it was hot in there!” Pearl punched him again. “IT WAS!” Phoenix rubbed his sore arm.
“So, now you get lessons?” Maya asked as she mounted her bike. “No more boring classes?
“Well… there’s a problem with that. The lessons here are too expensive, and my parents live too far away. I have no way of getting lessons unless someone can teach me.”
“How about Mystic Mia?” Pearl suggested.
“She’s dead, Pearls.”
“Edgeworth?”

Phoenix almost fell off his bike from laughing.
But it was a good idea.

Edgeworth always let his phone ring 3 times. Never more, never less. On the second ring, he looked at the caller ID. It was Wright and Co Law Offices. He moaned and picked up the phone.

“Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth speaking.”
“Hey, Edgeworth!”
“Hi, Wright…”
“He Edgeworth, I have a question…”
“Yes?”
“Umm… I don’t know how to say this properly…”
“O….K?”
“Umm…”
“Hurry up.” Edgeworth stared at his watch>
“Um… are you--“
“NO, WRIGHT, I’M NOT GAY! STOP ASKING!” Edgeworth hung up violently>
On the other side…
“Hey, he hung up on me!” Phoenix put the phone on the hook.

Edgeworth picked up the phone. He dialed Wright’s number slowly, and he heard it ring. He prayed that he would pick up.

“Hello?” Edgeworth asked.
“Hey, Wright and Co here! Who would you like to order?”
“Hello, Maya. May I order… Mr. Wright?”
“On a bun?”
“…”
“O.K. Here’s Phoenix.”
“hey, Phoenix here.”
“Umm… Wright?” Edgeworth sighed. “I’m sorry for before. What did you want to ask?”
“Can you teach me to drive?”
Edgeworth coughed. “What?”
“Can you teach me to drive?” Phoenix repeated.
“God, Wright. Why are you asking me?”
“Because I’m cheap and Mia’s dead.”
“Wow, Wright.”
“Pleaseeeeeee?” Phoenix begged.
“Oh, alright. We can start after work tomorrow.”
“YAY! I promise I won’t smoke in it. Or eat Chinese food. Or stuff a body in it and get blood on the upholstery.”
“Huh?”
“Thanks!” Phoenix hung up. Edgeworth sighed and hung up too.

Oh, and the pink highlighter is Quantuniverse, while the green is Feolys. Both good friends of mine and had some fun with this fanfic...

Oh well, comments? I guess the thing I want is A) is it funny? and B) I'm thinking about just ending the fanfic here, and not having anymore parts, so what do you think about that? Should it be continued or is this a good ending? (or should this story never see the light of day?)

That was funny. It was short, but funny. I think you managed to capture the characters personalities well even though it was short. XP And for the record, it's cheap, not cheep... I like the idea. I also liked seeing the comments other people made on it. They were funny too... Even if you don't continue it, and don't feel like you have too. It sucks feeling like you have to update stories you don't want to work on, but I did find this amusing.

I don't know why but those lines made me lulz so hard. Mainly because you can just see little Pearls biting her thumb thinking. And it's so nonchalant. I love it, and there's so many lines that could be placed before it for lulz.
