Phoenix's apartment

CRASH!
"EEEPP!" Phenix jumped out of his sleep, he was rudely woken by the flash of lightning outside. The room was dark, so Phoenix felt for a switch on the wall. Huh. Must be a blackout.He thought and reached for a table quickly when another flash lit up the room.

Cold coffee was spilled all over the desk and his documents were ruined. Thank god he had put the autopsy report for his almost hopless case in the office... Where is it... where is it.. there! Phoenix clicked on his torch and searched the room.

A plant was wilting in the dusty corner of Phoenix's mouldy apartment. It's about time I cleaned up around here, it's a rubbish tip! Im just glad mum isn't here...

A deep sigh left his lips as he trudged to the kitchen for a paper towel and some water for
the poor dehydrated plant, he wouldn't have known until then a huge turn of events were about to
happen...

Outside the dust-ridden kitchen window the rain beat down.
At least I don't have to clean the windows. Phoenix thought, stroking his chin with his cold fingers. His thoughts were suddenly interrupted at a huge rumbling, sucking sound from outside.

His eyes widened and his pupils shrunk as right there... in front of him.. comming towards the building at breakneck speed... a tornado.

"OH... HOLY... CR--"he didn't have time to finish as the kitchen tilted to the side and Phoenix was
tossed back like a rag doll, his shoulder blades smashing into the wall behind. what... just
happened... All the sounds were cut off from the blood whirling and sloshing in his head.

Glasses smashed, doors slammed, things hurtled towards Phoenix, but he luckily dragged his battered body just in time and machines blew a circuit on the wall next to him.

Phoenix felt numb, his body was refusing to move so far and was forcing him to let the smashed glass on the floor cut into his chest as he swirled round and round...

This... can't happen... I have a trial tommorow... Maya... Edgeworth... Mia...Phoenixs head burst
with thoughts as he screamed from the agony of being tossed around the room, he was at his most vunerable state now... his arms refused to grip on to something and his reflexes were slow and dizzy.

He cursed his disobediant physical self but he had to try to get out of this wreck in some way.
Objects flew back and forth around the room and an almost defeated Phoenix
skidded across the ground, desparate as his last hope of surviving this terror. the only thing he
could think of was seeing his friends again, which drew a determination to his mind.

He had to find shelter.

He had to survive.

Before it was too late.

Before...

SMASH! A hard, blunt object dug into hs skull and everything went black...
