Summary: Gregory is having a constant nightmare about a little girl crying in a dark corner.The next morning he meets Misty Fey who tells him that her daughter's been kid-napped and the accused is her sister, Morgan. The case goes on from there.


"I...can see...the light..." The wind crashes down upon a small shack as a small silloutte is seen crying in a corner... Crying tears of blood. Afterwards, the scene changes, and an unknown corpse is shown. Then a horrid piercing scream.

"NO!" Gregory Edgeworth woke with a start. The sweat dripping off his face as he calmly regained his composure. "Why does this dream haunt me so?" He asked his reflection. Maybe he was expecting a reply. Look at yourself Edgeworth, you're talking to inanimate objects. He looked at the clock. It was only 3 A.M. . He lied back down, hoping that dream would never intrude his thoughts again.

The morning after the "incident," Gregory commuted to his office, like normal. However, there was someone who was in front of the office. His eyes might the most lovely and beatiful maiden that you could ever see. She's so...beautiful. Not even the most talented artist could portray a woman as lovely as she. The lady begin to fidget with her hair as she asked,

"Are you the attorney?" She spoke so softly that all manner of logic almost left Gregory. He just stared. Come on Gregory you idiot, say something!

"Why yes I am. Do you need soomething Ms. ?" Gregory blushed. The woman suddenly burst into tears and embraced him. Gregory was bright red. She said quite hesitiantly,

"You see, my sister needs a very good defense at the moment." She still had an inivisble lump in her throat. Gregory wished to comfort her, but the words couldn't come out properly. He finally asked,

"Why? What was the reason?" He braced himself for something unexpected, but the young lady broke into tears again. "S-she's accused of....kidnapping my daughter..." Gregory wasn't prepared for THAT. WHAT?! The absurdity of that statement helped convince him to take the case.

"By the way, what's your name Ms. ?" Gregory waited in anticipation. The oung lady finally smiled and said,

"Misty. Misty Fey."

This looks like it could be the start of something interesting. These are some of my favorite characters to work with, and I commend your efforts for using them.

It seems promising, your synopsis looks very neat...I would just make the chapters longer. That was a great scene you have there, and you should add to it. More explanation, more backround...basically, put more in each chapter. More than one event can happen. But honestly, I'm looking forward to see what you have planned out for some of my favorites.
