Chapter 2Miles watched the knights in the courtyard of the castle and sighed. He didn't see why he needed a bodyguard. His father noticed and quietly said "Miles, I Know you're a good, fighter, but you can't defend yourself alone all the time." "Don't worry Miles. You get to choose" Gregory added. Then, he felt a tug on his shirt. "Brother, Sir Porcupine looks promising." To humor his sister, he glanced over at the arena. And froze up.
Pheonix was bored. All of the other knights were terrible. There were only a few that he thought were good. Von Karma evidently agreed. He was making a motion with his thumb and forefinger. Most likely saying "I am this close to banging my head on the wall"
"I am this close to banging my head on the wall"Manfred hissed to his husband. Gregory sighed. "Maybe if you stopped being so terrifying..." he suggested. "There are only a few knights out of this whole lot who seem even semi-competent" "Narrow it down"Gregory suggested.
Miles was startled as his father stood up and said "The following people leave please. Richard Gumshoe, Maggey Bryde, Mike Meekins and Angle Starr" There were groans of "Come on, Pal" "But sir!" "I'M DYING OVER HERE SIIIRRR" and "Lunch?"
Chapter 3Slowly, the contestants were eleminated. Richard Wellington, Matt Enguarde, Misty fey, Mia fey, Will Powers, the Skyes, the Gavin Brothers, Apollo Justice, Magnifi, then Zac, then Valant, then Thalassa Gramarye, Until finally the only ones left were he, Godot, formerly known as Diego Armando, and Pheonix Trite, the bane of his existence. He was confident that he would win against his long time rival. And then.."GO".
He And Trite started circling each other, each looking for weaknesses, then they stopped. They watched each other for a while, then he charged at Trite, who dodged, pivioted, then struck with the flat of his sword. He stumbled forward. They exchanged blows for a while, then he managed to disarm Trite. He stepped forward to make the man concede defeat, but his opponent somehow managed to grab his shoulder and trap his sword between their bodies. They wrestled for a while, but then they were stopped.
The royal family had decided, Von Karma stepped forward and announced "Enough. We have decided. Prince Mile's new Bodyguard is..." he smiled, certain Von Karma had chosen him " Sir Pheonix Wright" WHAT?! They had chosen Trite over him? Impossible. He realized he had spoken out loud when Edgeworth leaned over and said "Oh I assure you, Sir Armando, that is entirely possible." As Trite was carried away by the screaming crowd, Godot shook with repressed rage and hatred. He would get his revenge for this. Trite would pay.
