Good effort, but I'll agree that it's nothing incredible. Might I suggest bringing in sprites of characters during your process to serve as references? For example, when I was making Prosecutor Dzhugashvili, I kept an image of Gregory Edgeworth's hair next to the sprite so I could reference it when working on Dzhugashvili's hair. Also, the picture seems out of focus.
