Well, I'm not quite sure how to summarize what I'm asking about in the title, so I'm kind of stuck with something fairly vague, but I digress.

In short, I'm used to spriting in a small number of styles that have certain restrictions on individual sprites: One of the primary ones being colour count. In the styles I have sprited in before hand, the colour limit for any single sprite not broken into layers was fifteen + transparency, and I was wondering if any such restrictions had been noticed within the Phoenix Wright series's sprite style.

I'm pretty sure that other little limitations applied, but that's the one I distinctly remember. >>
