When we criticize sprites, we try to tell what is wrong with the sprite. but sometimes, we think that something is wrong, but really it is fine. About what Tap said, I think that Ceres sprite is fine, but maybe he is right, I don't know. But..douchebaggery? Silly people? Master spriters? You need to relax, boy. You are not God. You are not a master spriter. Tap was just trying to help.

Wow...take a moment to relax, Percei and think rationally. Not everyone sees the same things in your perspective so don't assume or you'll come off as an ass which you have.

I still stand by my point that the colours contrast and the angle looks a bit odd. I don't need to be reminded that the gun is glued to the costume that way because I have played the games several times since both the Japanese and English release :P

Let me elaborate what I mean by the contrasting colours with evidence. Take a look at this sprite.

Spoiler: AAI Case 3 Spoilers
ImageMeekins has relatively simple colours which blend with the suit. Because of this, he can wear the Blue Badger suit however...ImageBadd has a complex colour palette which clashes with the suit. Of course, this is only from a technical point. It is quite good at the moment :)


Zinle- I'm pretty sure Percei directed that comment to myself since he seems to have something against me. No idea why though. You shouldn't worry. Your sprites are good and it was simply a misunderstanding from how Percei worded his post against anyone who constructively criticised the "Badd Badger".

Well, back on topic, I think that I never commented about your sprites, Ceres. They are amazing. : D.

@Godot&Gavin: The sprite sheet was made for the red suit version, Orange was an extra.
And those little things you mentioned are way too unimportant to completely update the sheet.

About the Badd Badger, I like it as it is.

Once again, the my post starts with "It may be just me", but the eyes seem to be bit too high in my taste.
Not too much, but just a little.
I mean...Comparing the location of eyes and the mouth...his face seems just...well you know...

Other than that, I like it.

Wow. This is amazing, Ceres. The hair must have been a pain to do but you've managed to pull it off as it's perfect. Also, his face is excellent. You've really captured Diego in this zoom sprite.

No offense Zinle, But I looked at your Diego, and his eyes are waaay too low. (you focused on the red lines of the visor too much, and not so much on anatomy)

So the fact that you remarked on this, assures me that it's as good as it is. XD

so I took a look at it and although I do agree with zinle id say both eyes would probably be best 1 or 2 pixles lower so really isnt too much a big deal so good job on it ceres :godot:

Alright. I've looked at your sprites plenty of times, but always kept forgetting to make a comment on them.

I just want to say that your sprites are absolutely fantastic and stunning. The attention to detail that you give to each sprite is astounding. I will come out and say it right now that I feel you are the best spriter here on the forums. Whatever amount of time and effort you put into these sprites really shows and you should feel proud as to how well these have turned out. I'm always looking forward to what you put out next because it's such a feast for the eyes and I really can't wait to see what new stuff you bring out next. Continue to keep up the good work. I enjoy these.

I see you added a few things here and there. The Badd Badger is pretty epic. Oh, I get it Bad as in Badd, oh ho ho...you're so clever sir. Though I feel something feels off about the gun or maybe it's just me?

Kyahh, defense Diego close up! I had to linger and stare at it for a bit. Though I have to admit the eyes seem a bit to high like he's looking up at the ceiling. Just needs to be moved down a pixel or two in my opinion other than that things look pretty great.

Ceres, that's the best Diego defense bench spriting I've ever seen. If it's alright with you, could I personally use him for a Reminiscence fan-case I have planned for the future? Diego Armando is an integral part of my OC Defense Attorney's background, you see. I don't plan on making any edits, just want to use him since he's the best one I've seen so far. If yer working on his other poses, I can wait until those are done, though. And I don't plan on starting my Reminiscence case just yet (I plan on that being my third case or so, and I'm only starting on the first case for my series), so I don't have to use it right away.

Of course, I would be sure to give you full credit.

I'm not sure if they need editing or not, but if they do then it's a minor detail. All I cared about was the hairline/forehead area, since a lot of the ones I see either have a caved in forehead or a forehead that's way too small. I mean, for what it's worth I think it's fine the way it is. It's way better than anything I could ever do, and I've been looking for a Diego Bench sprite that looks good for like, forever now.

Thanks for letting me use him haha. Can't wait to see what his other poses will look like.

That's a pretty impressive-looking Diego sprite, Ceres. The hair on the zoom sprite looks good (you properly distinguished Diego's mane-like hairstyle from Godot's, I see). In my opinion, the eyes are fine where they are.

Well if you ever feel the need to get back into things and need a crutch to help you up, I'll let you take my Sprites and touch 'em up to look better. That's one of your finer quality's, getting into the tough to reach area's and making them sparkle.

There are a lot of extremely talented people on this board, but you're still the best, hands down.

We all owe you a lot for your fantastic sprites... me in particular. Without you I probably wouldn't still be on this board.
