It's really not that big of a deal.
Or maybe you were being sarcastic =/
I just trace the template or project it onto a piece of paper with my projector, and trace.
Then draw what I need to draw, and color.

He was origionally going to be sent into the army because of his father.
Dryver says that if the brother surives this, and gets convicted, he will pull strings and get the brother sent to the army.

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk...*chuckles quietly to self* I just love giving characters unfortunate names...
Anyways, in that case, I really don't think Mercedes fits. It's too feminine, and it implies more of...a casanova, I guess?
Pasynger also might not work, because he seems to have more of a...hmmm...dominant personality. That name puts him on the same level as his brother symbolically *seeing as rider and passenger are synonymous...* So, let's see. Maybe he starts out as Pasynger and tries to get more of a standing by becoming Shotgun, knowing well enough not to try and be Steerer because his father holds the pants, undoubtedly.
That means my two top choices are Pasynger "Shotgun" Lexus or Raycecar "Rayce" Dryver Lexus. (He adopted his daddy's name as a middle name, therefore subordinating it and not offending his dad...too much.)
