Hah, I think that's supposed to be the point. This is one of his BEAT! animations. Next I have to figure out how arms look when they are in pockets...
This one was a bit easier than I expected, though.

I'm going to make this post in both topic so that both Cold and Sammie can see.
Cold:
- I really like the shading and detail. ^_^ Especially the hair. I also love the detail and realness of the colors.
- Although, he has red hair.
- I like the headband idea, but the visor is sort of key to a lot of his expressions, as well as to the overall gambler look. In short, it's needed.
- Love the expression on his face. Calm, lucid, and very condescending. Just how the character is. ^_^
- The emblems could be more like Sammie's version. Bigger, and spaced out a little more.
Sammie:
- It seems rather basic, especially with shading. (though it's understandable, due to it being a prototype). For the next version y'all do, try to make it less Polly, and more a new guy, like Cold did. Use the base prototype that Cold used, maybe.
- Love your take on the size and placement of the emblems.
- The pattern is spot-on!
I think if either or both y'all took these suggestions, I'm sure it'll be awesome.
Furthermore...
Heheh. It's lovely, though, Gummy.Anyways, I think the animation is close to finished (the first non-canon, that is), unless you'd like to change something. Like, the amount of moving parts, the shadow, y'know.

And thanks re: the expression. I'm pretty happy with it. I was going for world-weary...heaven knows he's gone through a lot of Payneful things in his life

Anyways, lemme take another look...
- The beard is getting closer to what I am aiming for, but not quite. The sides of the beard need to reach to the height of the top of the ears. Also, the beard doesn't come towards the lip.
- He still looks somewhat grumpy. Neal is the kinda guy that's always (at least outwardly) at peace.

Okay. I'll work as much as I can on the final animation today,
) and today is the day when I have least time. I volunteer in a special education classroom until 4, and then I have dinner for an hour, then right after that I have YW, which means I have only around an hour to get homework done, two if I want to get to bed at 10...so, I'll try to do that, and then I'll work on Mystie.Hmmm, and I also got a new idea for a detective today in Spanish. Tray Cess, the nine-year-old genius detective. She has pigtails and she's always optimistic. Heheh. But don't worry, I'll work on the requests first an' all. =)
But anyways, I am truly happy the sprite worked out for you. That's good.

Will you be requiring...how should I put it...you know, one of the big sprites when the lawyers are yelling at each other? With the teal background behind it, the same color as the one behind the one I just posted, but with the head and part of the suit? (That was...dysfunctional...)
I mean, Payne doesn't have one. Prolly because he's, you know, never cool enough to get into a heated debate with the defense like other prosecutions do. But I could *try* to edit Phoenix if you feel that the absence of a large Payne would bore a hole deep into the foundations of your very soul.
