As for the shoulders, now that you bring it up I think they actually do slope too much. n_n; I didn't really construct that arm very well... oops? Shoulders are something I really need to pay attention to, since I usually draw pretty girls and guys have a lot wider shoulders. v_v

Ha, I was wondering if/when someone would notice that! :D
If you look at her official art, you can see that her broom has 4 ¹/3 segments on it.
However, in her animations there are clearly 3 ¹/3 segments visible, so that you can see that it's a broom she's holding when you only see the upper half of her body.
I was caught in a bit of a bind there, but I like to stick with the animations over the character art on things like this since there are often some differences, so I figured, "Eh, she's Yakuza anyway! She don't need to sweep proper!" and there we are. :3
Also, in this particular instance the broom being angled is already making her sprite rather bigger than I would like, and making her broom the proper length approaches closer the square. :/

Or rather, what kind I can do. I've been blessed/cursed with a highish-pitched voice appropriate for a young girl (like, say, Trucy) but arrrgh I can't make any manly noises. e_e; All I know is, he's going to have a British accent. Because I think he'd sound like PROFESSOR LAYTON~~~ yesssss~
