Well... Thank you all for your comments! Today's update is a full-body Hobohodou sprite that I drew up using some official art from Court Records. I downsized it, then traced over it in red, cleaned it up, and recolored it in my own simplified style. It was hell, but I'm very happy with the way it turned out. It also now graces my avatar along with Ami and an Ai Ai Gasa. (Can you tell I'm a fan of Phoenix?) Anyway, please keep checking back in future, I really appreciate hearing from all of you.

Hmm... I wonder why I've yet to comment in this thread. You've done a very nice job with your edits. In fact, you've inspired me to stop being lazy and continue working on my fanart. But I know I'll be too lazy tonight to do anything anyway I would suggest just moving everything into your first post; it just makes it a lot easier to find everything. Yes, I was having way too much fun with the cravat. But at any rate, I think the color's better now.
Ooh, I like being critical on sprites. Here we go (I'm not saying your sprites are bad~ I'm being critical so your next work'll be even better ^^)
1. You should do a bit more shading on this sprite's hair. (Check some PW sprites and you know what I mean)
2. The shading on the clothes has only 1 tint. You need a bit more tints, and I believe the official sprites are anti-aliased too (not sure)... a bit more erm.. wrinkles in the clothes are optional for added realism (Check Ema sprites)) (nevermind, you fixed this in the Hobohoudu sprite so you already know)
3. Shading on the shoes is a tad weird. I'm not being critical on your spriting skills, but on this very sprite. Keep up the good work!
(I didn't mean to sound like the sprites are bad, but I did, did I?)
Sorry to be very picky, but the main improvement is shading. ^^
Which you did very well in the Hobohodou sprite.

Well,could you make one of my original character? I could give you a brief description.
She has blonde hair,green eyes,she has basically the same hair style as Angel,but it's straight. She wears a green hat,blue baggy jeans, a grey skull shirt,and any sneakers will do.

Nice job! You're absolutely right.
It's The Who.I honestly just prefer MS Paint. It's simple, user-friendly, and extremely versatile. What a poor, underrated little pack-in program! While I understand that there are many extremely fine tools at your disposal with Photoshop, I don't have the money or patience for it. And the simplicity of my sprites is aesthetically pleasing to me, at least. That's one of the hugest things about sprite work that appeals to me: Vibrant colors and simple line-art and shading.
However, I appreciate your comment, and I probably will get around to experimenting with Photoshop at some point. I just don't think I'd use it to make sprites. ^_^

For a certain project, I have created my version of Maya getting a little older and becoming a lawyer. I wanted to maintain aspects of her original outfit while giving her a little more sophistication and womanly features.
