Speaking of which, here are a few more mugshots for RP plot purposes. There is also one I won't show yet because it's so spoileriffic for anyone involved, but suffice it to say it's one of these characters seen for who they really are.
First one is a princess, with Ini used as a reference. Second is her mother, a queen, modified from the princess's mugshot. Third is 100% scratchwork and ANOTHER MYSTERIOUS PERSON OF MYSTERY. Not quiiiite as mysterious as the first but still mysterious.

I'll try describing it anyway.
This is Lady Isis. I wanted her to look much like her namesake, an Egyptian goddess...
I started using Lamiroir's mugshot as a reference, but I had barely begun when I decided I wanted to try doing this one scratch. After all, it was only gonna be very vaguely based off the Lamiroir mugshot and look completely different anyway, since for many of these characters I'm trying to show them with more shading and a straight-on mugshot. It's a matter of appearance, since there are a lot of proper, elegant, refined characters involved and this style makes them seem more proper, refined and elegant...
Well, it wasn't easy making this one from scratch. At all. Shaping the face was perhaps the most difficult thing. I'm really, really happy with how her eyes turned out, though. I started out with them looking a lot more blatantly like the eyes in ancient Egyptian art, and over time they evolved into something a bit more beautiful and realistic.
By the time I finished the face and hair, I didn't even want to think about clothes, but with her long neck and height there was no way to hide any trace of collar without her looking naked. It's a complete write-off. I might replace it with something more fancy and elegant sometime in the near future, but for now, I'm calling it done.

Starting a little diner-ish place called Café À La Mode, and Kynia wanted me to turn the Très Bien flyer into one for the café. Besides that, this is all scratchwork.
