The game doesn't have an up close sprite of Winston when he yells "Objection!" I don't feel as though that is fair, he is such a great character, but we don't know anything about him, we know the judge far better than Winston. Other than the judge and Phoenix, Winston has been in every game so far. He deserves some love, right?

I did my best to imitate the game, i used the game's smaller sprite and the "vs" sprite as a reference (technically i resized them and traced them....) to create my best close up sprite of Winston. What do you think?

hmm, one thing perhaps, You shaded part of the teeth with flesh tone, perhaps a darker grey is more suitable.

I used the colors of the small Winston sprite to color this, that probably wasn't the best idea. I'm looking at the other characters' close up sprites, and they have a slightly different shading technique than their smaller version. I will work on this sprite to make it closer to the game's style =P thanks for your input.

Crap!...I had one zoomed Payne ready too...
Now I'm REALLY depressed...

So far so good, but (this is the part when I start to talk about how editing changes the world) ya could edit those line a bit?

I've worked on it more. By the way, the first image was made about a year ago, but I'm serious about making this nice, because I do want people to use it. The only problem is... well... look at all the other characters' close up pictures. You will notice that the close up is actually of their dramatic fist slammed against the desk pose (Franziska is the only exception, her close up pose is the one she has her hand reached out, but her vs pose is from this too), guess who doesn't have one... That is why Winston doesn't look very serious in my close up. If you notice the "vs" picture that shows in the beginning of every trial is a super detailed picture of the close up, Winston's close up is based off this. If we hope for Winston to get the respect he deserves, he needs more than just a close up, he needs more than 6 animations, he needs a super serious desk slam animation, maybe even a pointing animation (or even a few good front views). He is the rookie killer! He weeds out the weakest, so he should be feared not mocked. He deserves more than the what the game gives him. He isn't just a tutorial prosecutor, he has a heart and soul. (I talk way too much for just making sprites for fun. XD) I guess I better get to work making more sprites ><;;

Tr9000, I like the way you think...Payne needs more love.
Your points are quite valid and the work speaks for itself.

A tip perhaps, Try to shift his Eyebrows to make hime look more angry, and perhaps his "cocky" pose face could be used for a slight smirk.

But you've inspired me to get back to work on Ancient Payne, and while i'm at it I'l include his new poses for his regular sprites as well.

Yes. Payne's the only non-main character (i.e. Phoenix and Gumshoe) that's in all 4 games. He needs more love!

Actually there is at least on topic with Payne pointing.
Oh...When I can work again I'm gonna make close up Payne too and some other animations.

Yes ksunwoo6. I'm not good at smoothing it out ><;; i tried my best but im sure you can do better. I may make another version later, mind if you help me with that XD.
