I'd like it to look as though it's night time, and for the two banners to be replaced with ones advertising Eugene Onegin. I won't impose on you to throw in a crowd, but if you're willing to, you get extra credit.

Try using blue colours, this gives the illusion of night, but don't mess with the clearity.
Otherwise you get a washed out picture like the one above.

Except for the random lights from nowhere... and the moon is a bit bright.
I also think it's still a bit too purple, but still a lot better!
Vordox, I also think yours is really good except for that random light o.o And the moon has a distinct texture and shape; it isn't a fuzzy white circle.

No offense, but that's a really bad streetlight. Not because you did it badly, but because of the placement.
Look at the trees. A streetlight would probably be about as tall as the lowest branch.
You basically just made a 50-story streetlight :P
Plus, random light =/= streetlight. You gotta add in a post to it, too.
