I put all the stages I used for the "sprite" so people would know I didn't just do some sprite edit and I in fact did this from scratch using one of Apollo's original game poses as a reference.

Now to explain why I did this: Because court-records.net is having the original character contest (and of course this ISN'T my entry) however I drew him like that to show the relevance of my OC in the Ace Attorney Universe. I already have the sketches of my original defense lawyer but I have yet to start her since I thought it'd be more fun to try and draw an older Apollo who is supposed to be her mentor xD Sadly my lawyer still hasn't got a name cause I haven't thought of a good pun yet (frankly the last pun name I thought of for an Ace Attorney character was Justin Justice which I thought up as a guess to Odoroki's (Apollo) English name before his official name was established. hey i got the last name right xD)

Already did one sprite of my character (view the spoiler tag dont be afraid its not a spoiler) I might end up making more sprites of my character for the contest or maybe not but eventually I think I will get around to make a little animation with some made up case and have this Apollo here give her some advice that ends up being completely useless as usual xD (those "helpers" are really no help at all to me since I can never understand their hints >.>;)

Despite the big file for the animated one the quality still seems pretty low gotta find a way to animate these without ruining the quality oh well but this was just a test.




My defense attorney Vero Simil in the process of characterization and all. hopefully I'll get the other sprites done for the contest and I'll make this one move :D.
Her name comes from the spanish word "verosimil" which means that it seems real and believable which is what all of the defense arguments seem like in the ace attorney universe of course they do turn out to be true in the end xD

Ah no I didn't use a casemaker to put them in the story I just used flash to animate it and drew them on Photoshop xD

Either use Gimp to animate, or convert the files using GiFFY and use Microsoft gif animator.

Might not be so convenient for these mock up things though...

Anyway, your sprites are amazing! I wish I could do nice customs like that...

Why are have all the older Apollos have swapped tie and jacket colours?
