Okay, so I'm just beginning at this spriting thing, so anything to hepl would be highly appreciated. For now I've only done frankensteins and color edits, so I'm not really good. :larry:

Spoiler: Practice Works

Lamoir put the Maya hair on this one, but I edited all the rest. The shirt doesn't look nice.

This was my first frnkenstein.

I named him Terry Fawkes: Ace Businesman

Spoiler: Requests by Friends Outside of CR

My friend named this one Penny Skye.

These were both just random requests.

Please give me more tips!

OK then first off I like to state something I state to all the beginners only as advice and you are free to do as you please but I recommend starting with sprites only from the original 3 games

this is because the sprites are simpler to edit and make look nice and the fact that if not edited carefully the result of a frankensprite between pw and aj sprites are more often then not terrible.

now then I looked through the stuff you did and Ill try to give a few good tips

1. using colors straight off the basic colors given is often a bad idea because the clothing becomes to bright all around and clothing isn't usually bright with a few exceptions but even then in short supply

2.absolute black is a bad Idea for sprites (at least for pw/aj sprites) colors of clothing should properly blend but the outlining should be dark enough to actually seem like an outline

3.straight lines are very often a bad idea the same goes goes for any direction and use a second color for curving it helps blend to make a better line and doesn't make the line seem small

4.don't put a head on a body that doesn't match its proportions
also make sure to edit back in anything that was overlapped by putting the new head there
(or any part for that matter)

I hope these tips help out :godot:

@GMiekoV: Thanks!

@Cold52: Thanks for the tips. I'll try to practice some more following your advice.
