TUTORIALS

Hello! Welcome to Shoy Spriting Tutorial Section!
Here's the first tut, on basic PW Shading!

I recommand to DRAW your character before Spriting it, it's Useful!

Spriting tutorial: Custom Spriting!(a.k.a Drawing to spriting)

Keys:
- requires drawing.
- Can be hard.
- Better use the first tutorial to understand.
- IMPORTANT!
- requires the part before it.

Part 1:
Draw a ref of your character.
NOTE: you don't havee to DRAW it. if you lack good drawing abillity, ask a freind to do it. You can also use another kind of refs, but the rule is DO NOT EDIT THE ORIGINAL SPRITES.

Part 2:
Resize the drawing to the regular size of PW sprites. NOTE: This is the only time you may use the PW sprites,for size matters.

Part 3:
Draw the outline of the drawing IN PIXELS!

Part 4:
Color it with suitble colors.

To be continued in the following post, please no comments between them.and i'm sorry for double-posting. Part 5:
Pick the shadings of the colors you chose.

Part 6:
Shade the character in the right shading.
NOTE: better look at the top of the page, for the first tutorial.

Final note: Yeah, i know the hand isn't quite anatomic, BUT THIS IS AN EXAMPLE. You can make a better hand. And I KNOW i forgot to draw a head, and that's because i kinda suck at drawing good heads.
