Well, I've realised that I had an Adobe Image Ready program on my computer, and found I could animate sprites on the page. While working on it, I made a few animations with some OC, as well as some other sprites.

This it the first one. Natty, this goes out to you!

Yeah, I can tell it needs a little bit of cleaning up, since I only have a white background to work with. Anyway, I hope to have more done by the end of the week. Enjoy!

Two more added to the roster, with backgrounds!

Athena Cross, my OC defense attorney. I've always wanted to try and animate her, but didn't have the guts to do so. I fixed the blinking, as well.

Athena's defense aid, Mira. Pretty much ripped from Maya's sprite, with color alterations and cleaning. Actually, I'm very pleased with this one.

Nice animation!
They blinking could be a little better timed, but everyone blinks differently right? =]
Hmm, it also seems that the chin should go down or something to show that the mouth is open, or it just kinda is like the mouth is open but the rest of the fase is like, paralized maybe
It might just be me though.
Otherwise nice work!

You should perhaps add a bit more 1-2 frame to the mouth and kinda make it 25% faster. Somewhat like this fast. Or you'll look like you are too stale. The faster Framerate the better, if you have the sprites for it.

I appreciate the advice, guys. I'll try some more when I get the chance.

Actually, the way I made it work is by taking a single frame from Older Ema, editing the color's and tone until I got it right, and then cutting Desiree's face from that sheet and placing it on top.

For the frames of animation, I only took the mouth and eye parts, since those were the key animation points. So you weren't off by what you thought.

Yeah, I mostly with with the .2 second frame rate because I believed that was the speed rate at which the Ace Attorney characters are animated. But I'll give it some work. Thank's for the advice.

It's 0.2 Sec? Where you read that, I want to see that too. =)

I didn't really read it anywhere, I just went with what I thought when I looked at the game. Sorry, I should have worded it better.

Actually, it varies depending on the frame and animation.
Although the basic data are 120 ms (miliseconds) for speaking frames,
50/60 ms for blinking frames and 1550 ms for normal frames (inbetween
the blinking)

It's apparent that a non-talking animation follows the pattern
1550ms (normal)
60ms (each blinking frame)
1550ms (normal)
50ms (each blinking frame)
1550ms (normal)

And that talking animation follows
120ms (talking animation) x3
50ms (each blinking frame)
120ms (talking animation) x4
