As we all know about now, is that Edgeworth is getting his own serie/game for DS. Which sparked me that we perhaps should make a "spoof" of a certain "In production" game.

So.... I wonder who can make a Logo for this game?
Spoiler:
Image Dick Gumshoe, Ace Detective: The Younger Years. ^^ Now if Only I could find a person who can do logos. :P hehe.

This is by all means only a "laugh", Thereby the "spoof" in title.

Sounds fun. I've been working on logos (click graphic button on my sig!) I'll see what I can do, if you want me to help. Do you want a specific coloration on the ACE DETECTIVE part? And do you want him pointing?

You decide, We'll try and mix the logo up when we see how you think it should look like. :yogi:

Most likely a Quick Logo that reminds of Gumshoe, so what is the first thing you think of when you hear "Gumshoe", Detective?

Well How about this.
This was my first time actually editing the words ACE ATTORNEY on the logos, but I think it turned out pretty good.
Well, tell me what you think. :yogi:

Actually that's HELL alot good. O.o Really. Suprised me you did well, young one. even for a first time on the Bigger Texts. :edgy:

Hmm, the "Younger years." Does indeed look a bit too usual. Then again, the name is kinda misplaced now that I think about it. Perhaps we are able to use another word for "past tense" for Gumshoe. :eh?:

Shame I'm not that good at the English Language to get a synonym for "younger days". >< Any ideas?

Some quicker on the second thoughts for past tense mentions.

"The days of past." Although slightly too long. Hmm Need a shorter word. :sawit-mad:
"Early Days." Sounds abit more on the top, and not gives a slight "Hmmm".:

Then again, it should have some "Umph" to it...

Any word come to mind for you Magnus?

Ps: I think we may have a Early April Fools joke going on here. :hair:

Perhaps a DS cart with this Logo + Backside of the Box... Hehe

Thanks a lot.
Well I've been thinking about it,
How about a T&T inspired
"Airtight Beginings"
I think it has a punch.
I don't know if I can do box backs, If I could find a PW one online then maybe (for the legal jargon that takes up half the back)... But DS cart doesn't sound too difficult and I could definitely do a front.
Tell me what you think of the above title, while I look for DS cart and box back images (those would be useful to keep handy :godot: )

Euhm, Sorry if you disagree, but on the logo the arm looks off.
Try raising/resizing it.

In my opinion, the font's too generic. Try dafont.com, everyone already knows
all the fonts that come with windows.

And to get rid of the white speckles, you can always try either a white background
or adding a soft, glowing white border.

Hmm, the Arm? IF you think of Gumshoe, perhaps he would just stand straight up and arm outstretched, then the Logo looks ideal for it, since I think Gumshoe normally wouldn't turn his body to stretch out his arm. The specks I have no idea how to fix.

Edit to Magnus REmade Logo Ceres: I like it, the Font, the Image, the Logo overall. Now with the specks gone I can't see any trouble with it. :edgy: Well, if one can help, one should, if not, noone have to. Stands back to back and we might actually fool a few people with it. :yogi:

About the "DS cart BOx"
http://i1.iofferphoto.com/img/item/384/ ... a31_12.JPG
This is the "harder" one to do. we have to angle the Picture Font and Logo to match the angle, but it gives a more "True faced" sense for those watching it.

About the Undertitle: The more I think of it, the lesser I feel it doesn't need one. I guess Ace Detective gives off enough "humph". Hmm, I'll see if I can make my sprite look "Older" simply then. *Goes editing*

Or we could do the easier one, http://i3.iofferphoto.com/img/item/570/ ... ceVjgc.jpg , but it looks not so "true faced" as the other, one.

Edit: Got them "unwinded" now.dacarteasydc5

Edit3: About Ceres Image, when I try and Copy save the image, the Background of the logo becomes the same colour overall, so I can't Cut the Transperancy out. >< Any slightly change to that would be nice.

Ceres mix of your logo does indeed look the best. The specks are gone, the arm does look better. Or what do you think?

The font got cleared up, from what I can see. The arm got raised and added a "curve" to look more real. Although I do not if you can put 2 TMs in the same Title. :udgy: Hmm, tricky tricky.

As for the Game Pack, upload it and we'll see which we can use, yours or mine.

Edit to Ceres: You should add a nontransparent Transperancy Colour, since I can't Copy and save it without getting the transperancy Colour mixed up. :yuusaku:

I'm pretty sure it's done from scratch
It's quite different from the Ace Attoney logos, but it is excelent and smooth... and a png.

My only quam is the differences between the Ace part (which is from the Ace Attorney Logo), and the Detective part (which is custom) when it comes to the black outline.

@Ceres: ... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT FONTS THOSE ARE AND HOW YOU GOT IT SO SMOOTH!!!

About the Ace/Detective: Now that I see it, it does look like it's a different size on the fonts on Ceres Logo.:udgy: Still It looks promising enough.

@Magnus: Instead of copy/save it, have you tried just to regulary save them? ...Quite easy, no?

about the font, Use photoshop, Georgia bold. then edit the spacials between, etc.+ blending options.

Credit to Ceres for the logo, of course.

Ceres, I edited your logo a tiny bit (filled in white spaces on letters). Hope you don't mind.
And what do you mean by save them?
Do you mean as PSD and then convert?

He meant Right click and Save as.^^;;

As for the DS, both of them. The harder angle makes you stretch the picture of the Box. Which is the hard part to fixate.

As for the DS cart easy. Looks like Gumshoe is too Sharp, perhaps if you were able to Blur it would be better. and take away alittle contrast.

Edite Attempt:
Spoiler:

Going to play around and see if I can get good results on it.

Came out abit better then I hoped. O.o As for the DS box art, I can't do Contrats shifting. =( Need less colour + Slight 1:01 Blur. Should fix it.

Have to way I like the way you put in Mia younger one and Gumshoe for box art. XD

Older mia and younger mia are very different.
But younger edgeworth and older edgeworth are a costume change and some longer hair away. I could see a year or two doing that to him. The way I think about it, Edgeworth only wore that outfit on his first trial, since it was kinda a special occasion.
IDK its my own opinion.
So, in short, yes, that is intentional.
EDIT:
Spoiler: Revamped Game Pack
ImageI should look into smoothing the boarder so it looks legit :sawit:

About the Back of the Box, I cleaned up quite a bit from this Dragon Quest DS Back Art Box.

A very small varation to add more dignity to it.

The trouble I have is the Capcom Small logo, since I don't have the software you do have... :grey:
If we include
Spoiler:
Image
We have a small piece for the Back of the Box. Hmm. Anyone have any other ideas on what to put there? Most likely other famous characters. But then again we must remember that Dick hasn't been a Detective that long. So perhaps Gant may be able to be in here too, with Lana as well. Any other Police/Detectives? Maybe even add in Bruce, Angel, Marshalls?

This should help you a bit. I'll put in more direction if you ask where we use material to make it look more authentic. :will:

Wish I had a Software that's good that doesn't cost over 20.000 Dollars... :payne:

Edit2: I attempt to fix up the Front a bit...It came out better, but I screwed up on the Lower Transperancy gradient part. >< I can't fix that.
Spoiler:

The "Challenge and New found Gaming Mechanism" is a must have at this time. For instant, if you watch the upper right corner of the Back Box art, it says 2 players, so a Multichosen Mechanism for a game should be somewhat of a Curiousity for older and new players to test it.

1: Make it so that one is the prosecutor(Possibly Miles...hmm. or?), while the other is Detective Gumshoe, and after start of a case, you have a certain time limit to gather evidence for the upcoming trial, we're talking minutes literally, While Gumshoe is in the search for possible clues, the Prosecutor side handles the evidence, doing backcheck, Finger Prints, etc etc. During the "Investigation part" the Prosecutor may only be in the premises of the Laboritory Conduct or the Office(We're speaking several rooms + Varations.) while Gumshoe is at the scene looking for clues, changes, evidence.
2: In the Court, there is a "Guilty Bar." that reminds of the HP, however it starts in the middle of the Bar, and one bar is Getting Greener for Not Guilty, while Red for Guilty. You may only show up 5 evidence per Trial(up to 3 days as normal.) Each evidence has a "Desicsive" meter, however, this is for the 2 people to find out thorugh the backchecks + Examiniation of the Piece. However each Scene has over 20-30 evidence, Both good and bad for the accusud.

Of course, this is only a Spot on example. Needs a bit refining. :ini: Heh

So, You underestimated me?, Feel free to use the program (Gimp is free) and make something yourself. ( so no "stealing" required)
( I have to agree, the sprite could've been better, perhaps you can trace gumshoe's pose from this: http://www.court-records.net/scan/08042 ... ream08.jpg)

The spritewalk pose was ripped from a scan and then pasted onto an edited background.

A scan? I don't recall seeing that game before with Gumshoe. =/

Underestimate? Not really. Your Sprites tell you are used to spriting way more then me. :P However, I had a hard time coming up with doing the box art, Couldn't even get the text right with Paint, so I ..e.rr DL PSP. >.> Trying it out right now. But it's a big change from Paint.
