This is using one of VirtAnderson's sprites as a base. I'm guessing this means you've used other fan sprites without reference. Make sure you don't do this in the future.

I've been using this place for a long time, for sprites specifically, and I just want to contribute some stuff that I made, because I suck at spriting. Anyways, enough talking, here they are. You'll need to upload these to a site like imgur because you've only provided local file pathways. Only you can view images using those links. |

'Credit to whoever made the original' isn't actually credit at all. It's like saying 'no copyright infringement intended, credit goes to the artist' and uploading an entire movie to YouTube. I have a few edits of my own made from bases whose artists' names I've forgotten - and I don't post them. |

It's great that you want to sprite though and great that you're proud of your edits. I encourage people whole-heartedly to get into spriting! I just think if you have a cool idea but don't know how to make it without editing, to acknowledge who did the original. Just note that, at least with fan-made sprites, people put in time and effort to make them and (because it's easy for things to stay hidden online) credit as to who made what can be lost as things are taken and edited. It's just a nicety to credit someone because it shows you acknowledge they did the base of your sprite. Best with frankenspriting to start with official sprites (most will know who official assets are credited to), and if you want to use other artist's, check their permissions or just ask permission. That way things are A-OK. |

Back after a bit of a break, I credited the people who made the original sprites both here AND on Imgur. I hope that clears stuff up. |
