How do I animate sprites?

I use Corel for my animations. If I want to finalize them in some kind of Internet format I usually make a GIF with Animation shop. Aligning the sprites frame by frame can be hell though.

I use Macromedia Flash 8 (you can, in fact, make GIFs with Flash!). It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

It shouldn't be. I just grab the right frame in Corel and write a snapshot to the final product. :minuki:

It helps me MAKE each seperated frame. Otherwise I'm liable to have two completely segregated animations working in layers.

I use Unfreez. Very simple and very small (less than 20 KB). The only problem that you have to save every frame as a GIF file before animating it, but if you use Photoshop or GIMP (and probably some other programs) your sprites won't turn fuzzy when they are saved as GIF.
