Uh... yeah, just wanted to see how Nick looked in green. I don't have any complex paint programs so I had to use Microsoft Paint and do this pixel by pixel for the most part. >_>'

Older Phoenix and Maya. Phoenix is unchanged, but I used Mia's normal pose when she's being channeled, reduced the cleveage, and kinda dorked around with her face to give her more of Maya's bright eyed youthfulness. Looks a little weird to me at times... ._.

MS Paint is very useful for pixel editing, but please... save in BMP format.

MS Paint is my weapon of choice as far as sprite-editing goes, and I'm a spriter of some renown. ^_^ It's a much more versatile program than it's given credit for. A few things:

As was previously mentioned, it would be a good idea to save your work as PNG so that the quality isn't reduced. If you need to do a recolor in MS Paint, all you have to do is: Select a certain shade of the color you want to change and make it transparent (like light blue), make a big block of the desired end color (like light green), then drag the sprite over the block of your end color. Voila! Instant no-hassle recolor. Repeat for all the shades to each equivalent shade, and you're done.

I must say, this is a very neatly done recoloring, and green really suits Nick. ^_^ This is a good first step towards becoming a decent spriter! I'll check back.

I think it might be because you use an older version of Windows - when I had ME, I also wasn't able to save with .png. I'm using XP now, and I can do it perfectly.

More detailed instructions. How do you make any other color than white transparent!? =O

Right-click the colour you want transperitised. It only works with one colour (that includes shades) at a time though.

This was pretty good. Can you try other colors?

- white, purple, pink and black.

Not entirely. XD Just for the outlines and stuff. I used the fill option for the big parts of course.
