This is an odd request because of how open-ended I'm being with this, but this is standard practice for me (letting the spriters go nuts, that is)

So, here's the character's DETAILED profile, minus appearence (because for me, appearence follows personality, hence the "open-ended" tag in the title):

Name: Trueman De La (yes, yes, lame lame lame, I know)
Occupation: Attorney

Age: 22 (Hey, anyone else noticed this is the usual age for a playable character in their first case, not including Edgeworth?)

Gender: Male (Just in case you didn't get it)

Personality: At first glance outside of court, Trueman appears to be quite tempermental, but when you get to know him better, he's actually a real soft touch, kind, gentle and funny. He's quite 'immature' in his TV show taste, never missing an opportunity to catch up on any Samurai series (and he's quite open about his love for it, no matter what the problem is).

Inside court, Trueman is a whole other person. He is stubborn, determined to see a case through to the bitter end, and short-tempered when losing a case. His ability to weed out the true criminal in every one of his trials has earned him the nickname "Re-Wright" (yesyesyes, epic lame, I know).

Interesting Fact:
Trueman was such a fan of Matt Engarde as a child he styles his hair in a similar manner (this is the catch)


I know it's a tad... awkward, given the fact I don't have a concrete appearence idea... but I figured if I let you guys figure out what's best, it should work out well. :edgy:

That's pretty cool, but something seems off about that tie... Oh well, considering how quickly you did it, I shouldn't really complain.

only thing I can see which is odd is the face, which isn't Fleggin's fault, I just don't think that the forward Phoenix face looks very good on the whole, also the eye's a bit wierd.

I'd say it gives more of a babyfaced feel to him... Which fits his out-of-court immaturity well, IMO.

EDIT: By the way, the open-ended nature of this request means you can feel free to keep contributing.
