Haha, it looks like Franzy's the only one who notices the random Badger sneaking up on them...
They all look SO adorable.
I do think that was a good choice for the background color, too.

I don't know anything about Layton (YET -- I hope to play soon...), but that painting is looking really great so far!The colors are awesome, the perspective is cool, and Luke looks adorable!

I was happy that the recent pictures I took with my camera didn't distort the colours as much, so they look pretty much the same as they do on the canvas xD I'm glad I was able to make Luke look cute (Normally can't draw children or guys...).

You should play the Layton games as soon as you can. They are so good! The characters are so awesome (And the puzzles, who can forget the puzzles)
Maybe it's because it's a painting that I put effort in so that's why it's possible to have children featured. My sketches and drawings are always really messy (even when I try to be neat!)
@sparkleranger78: Thank you so much! I usually hate doing perspective because it requires so much "precision" And I'm sure you don't suck at perspective. I pretend I know what I'm doing when I really am bluffing, haha.

My favourite character that you did would be Luke - but I agree with Arkillian, in the sense that his right eye is too high up.
