So Seraphie created the original thread suggesting the sheer awesomeness it would be if Franzy's Whippety Whip Trip/Franzy's Whip Lash Splash were actually created. So, being bored, I took the idea and sort of ran with it (although I cannot guarantee sheer awesomeness on my part). These aren't serious "fanarts" of mine since I'm lazy as well as bored, but I may actually go back and make these doodles presentable later if I have the time. At the moment, I'm just drawing the pages and uploading one at a time, so expect updates. Eventually, all of the text in the story will be replaced by a "page." Sorry page ten is out of order in terms of completion, but I had to draw Porcunix.

For now, enjoy the classic children's tale by Laurice Deauxnim (written and illustrated with some help by me). Mr. Deauxnim had the nerve to sign his initials "LD" on all of the pages saying "They're in my sketchbook!" but they're mostly done by me if you get the drift. </plug>

So, Franzy went to America to find her brother and whoever beat him.
At the airport in America, she saw a scruffy whippet dog. The dog was very hungry and looked like he would gobble everything up!

Not scared at all, Franzy took out her whip and taught the dog a lesson.
WHIPPITY TRIP!

"Where is the one who beat my brother?" Franzy asked the dog.
"Please don't hurt me anymore." said the dog, "The one who beat him was the porcupine."

So, Franzy visited the porcupine's house. It was a mess.

"I am here to defeat you." Franzy said to the porcupine. The porcupine simply stood and pointed at her.
Determined, Franzy took out her whip again and tried to teach the porcupine a lesson.
WHIPPITY TRIP!



Defeated, Franzy threw down her whip in anger and stormed away.
"I can not believe I lost to that porcupine! I am going home!" she said.

At the airport, she was about to leave, but then she heard a strange beeping sound. She turned around.
It was her brother Miles!

"How did you find me?" Franzy asked Miles. "I was looking everywhere for you!"
"The little whippet dog helped me." said Miles.

To Franzy's surprise, Miles took something out of his bag. "My whip!" Franzy said.
"The little porcupine gave this to me. I want you to have it back." said Miles.

"Are you not ashamed of me?" asked Franziska to her brother. "I too lost to the porcupine."
Miles, however, just smiled and said, "Perfection is meaningless. I lost sight of what was good. I am just glad that I could see you again."

Overwhelmed by everything, Franzy cried tears of happiness.
"I have always been behind you, brother, but I don't care anymore." said Franzy, "All that matters is that we are together again."

Page 4 is up. More Fran hands too, heh, sorry, but at least it has a background (sorta). About the pink, it's something of a flashback, but I'm not too literate with Photoshop. Anyone know how to get a good "memory" effect? The pink just seems awkward compared to the previous pages. :/

I just realized I've been drawing Edgeworth on almost every single page. (And he's going to show up even more later!)

I think I may redo 4 at some point. It's kind of odd going from Fran hands to more Fran hands as well. The alternate picture would be Franziska crumpling Edgey's letter with an evil grin and I think that fits a tad better. Plus it doesn't have any ugly flashback effects either. Possibly the only thing I like about my current page 4 is how Franny's being left behind.
