Pretty sure this is the appropiate place to post...

Now I'm not so good with Photoshop, so what I did was just take all kind of pictures (thank you CR) and made them into something like a story line of the first 3 games. Hope you like it, I use it as my background on my PC! Please let me know what you think!

Spoiler: Just in case I wasn't clear... Serious spoilers of GS1 to 3

And if this is the wrong place to post: I'm really really sorry, but then please tell me where I should have posted this... :payne:

Very cool. Looks professional! I may have to steal it when you're not looking!

I don't care if you steal it while I'm looking, xD

But do you think I should add more pictures? Or is this sufficient?

Sorry if this is really selfish, but I thought (as there were 2 positive comments already) this was worth bumping... Btw, how do you change a topic's title?

Hmm... it's a very nice idea, it's just that it looks a bit... choppy. It's a bunch of separate pictures with nothing really connecting them. If you could figure out a way to blend the pictures and get them to flow, then this would look really amazing.

EDIT:
Made an AA example. The pictures are a lot larger, so there aren't as many, but they're smoother.

I see what you mean, but this is what I meant with little Photoshop skills. I'll give it a try though. Thanks for commenting and on how to change the topic name!

To get images like that, it's simple:
1. Lasso (or marquee) what you want out of the picture. Ctrl + I, then delete (inverses your selection, then deletes that, leaving the original selection)
2. Select (with lasso or marquee) the area around someplace. But before you do, BE SURE TO SET THE FEATHER TO 10 (at the top). Then press delete a few times to blend it with the background (you gotta do this for all the necessary edges)
3. Play around with positioning and opacity until you get it good :)

That's what I did for all those pictures, except on Frank's and the 1-3 pictures I used a radial blur, and on Redd's I did something kinda complex that I don't really understand to just clean up the pic a bit.

But leaving everything with its square border makes it all detatched. Even if you don't blend it in (skip my step 2), you can still then position everything to flow better.

I'll give it a go now, thanks! I'll let you know if I have questions!

EDIT: Turns out I lack a good photoshop progam... Mine is quite old and lacks a lot of stuff...
