Fancy and rough art...

Oh well anyway; I've been drawing a lot of crap lately, including some fanart. Since I got my new scanner yesterday, I'm quite in a frenzy to show you my lame sketches and scraps. The only kind of art I seem to be any good at is a cartoon-ish style, I tried others but I'm just not patient enough to learn other, more complicated styles right now. Oh and I suck doing digital art =/

Oh and I'm not really scared of critique or anything. I'm usually the one who's criticizing most of my work. There really are just a few drawings and sketches which I am 100% satisfied with and I don't think that'll change in the future :P

I don't have the most super-awesomenest style but that's not what I am heading for anyway. I also tend to change my styles a lot, don't know why though....
Meh, I wish people would have paws instead of hands or just four fingers instead of five. It's way easier to draw those than drawing the usual kind of hands...

Self critique is good, but only if you know how to do it. Otherwise you run yourself down for now reason. Sometimes getting a fresh opinion is a good idea. For example. You know how most of the time your picture looks mostly right but looks weird? Try flipping the picture over and seeing what it looks like in a mirror image :) If it looks all weird an lopsided in the mirror image, then that's why it's weird the other way. keep tweaking it until both views look right, and you can get away with almost ANYTHING in art :) Do come and get crit from me though :) I'll crit as many pictures as you like (1 at a time though XD ) and I have all sort of techniques I've learnt over the years ^^ I might be able to give you a few more things to look out for- get you hit ratio up :D I know how having a low hit ratio can be. I was there once >.> It doesn't increase too much over time, but it can get better ^^

THIS is the greatest idea ever! :D You can't believe just how many times I've been looking through my pictures and thought: "Something's wrong here.. but what?" Thanks for the glorious tip!

Okay, will do when I have a bit more time. School is keeping me quite busy this and the next few weeks =/
Ah well, I don't care that much about my hit ratio. If people look at it, they look at it. If they don't, it is fine as well. I just want to show my art and sketches and whatnot to people and maybe get a smile or a laugh back. I just want them to enjoy my crappy art [:
