Its a fabric called velboa. Its basically the shortest faux fur you can possibly get. It was dyed my me to get the right color because velboa doesn't come in gray. So I dyed white velboa. ^^ You can also use faux suedecloths (like alova suede or butter suede) or craft velour. The important part about these fabrics is they have a backing on them and they don't fray at all when cut.

Actually, if Capcom were to get a prototype from anyone, I'd absolutely insist it be from BabyLondonStar.
