Beta's Art Shop [01/27]

[Arcticwaters]

(Beta's also a nickname of mine, cause I'm a twin, younger by a mintue, so our friends call us Alpha and Beta. I like to go by it sometimes.)

Revamped x3

Spoiler: As a note

Like in most fandoms, I tend to follow an AU storyline when I so choose when drawing or writing. The most major change is that I don't have Mia die, I just have her go into a coma... Just how this affects the rest of the sotryline, I haven't figured out yet... But, yes, in my world, she doesn't die. I might have her dead in most art, depend on what I feel like (and I have some great Phoenix/ghost!Mia ideas). Another minor one is that sometimes I might age Franziska to being three years younger then Edgeworth. Because I like the idea of her being six when he was nine. x3

New picture: A Phoenix/Mia :3

I shall be revamping this topic steadily, fancying it up a bit, using pretty preview images. I've been drawing a lot of PW lately, and I've got some sigs and stuff planed too.

Finished Art

I wasn't going to post this until it was finished, but I figured, hey, why not show everyone what I've got so far. This is just the tip of the iceberg; there's over 60 more to come x3 This is actually a lot bigger, but Image Shack must have resized it. It's about 50 % maybe here, and you'll be able to see a lot more detail in the finished.

You think if you could ever really touch me, I might wake up from all of this.

[kana-hajime]

such cute puppies, i love them!

[Super Muffin]

It's so nice to see that someone else likes Lana/Mia. Or at least knows of it. Ok, so including you, me, and the person that originally got me into the pairing...that's three.
Ok, while I don't normally like puppies (I'm more of a cat person...), I have to say that these are well drawn. Some of the pics are just hilarious, as well...I hope to see more.

[Arcticwaters]

I think a lot of people here like Lana/Mia x3 Or at least, if they don't ship it, they say it's still good; I haven't heard much against it. My sister loves it, and while I like Phoenix/Mia more, I can't see Lana with anyone other then Mia (... except, maybe Godot, but I think that only works in my own personal fandom.)

[Mii]

So Coooooooooooool!!!!

[Super Muffin]

...and while I like Phoenix/Mia more, I can't see Lana with anyone other then Mia...

...I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to hear someone other than myself say that. You've just made my day.
*stalks thread*
I just looked at the Ace Canine link up in the original post (I somehow missed it...) and those dogs are pretty freakin' cool. I think that my personal favorites would have to be split between Gumshoe and Manfred. Their forms just fit them so well. The fact that Franziska looks like she's about to hit Manfred with her whip is also incredibly awesome. I'd have to say the colors really are doing wonders for the drawings-the doodles are nice/funny, but there's just something about finished, colored work that makes a drawing wonderful. Although I usually never color any of my stuff...die, laziness, die.
(Just thought I'd make my post of some use to the thread.)

[Arcticwaters]

Well thank you dear :3
