This thread is currently for the discussion of any Original Characters (OCs) submitted to the Fanart division of the Court-Records OC Contest 2010, and all related artwork thereof. This thread is in no way officiated or administrated by Court-Records staff; it is for users, by users.

Working hard on your own Ace Attorney fanart and geeking out about Ace Attorney, it can be difficult to keep tabs on all your fellow artists even within this little subforum here at Court-Records. That's why we have this thread here, devoted to dedicated fanartists and the OCs they're submitting to the 2010 OC Contest! Everyone is welcome to post here, so long as some rules are followed:

• DO NOT ARGUE about or insult OCs and their creators. This applies not just to artists but to their followers. There is a rich diversity of people here with their own opinions and interpretations of the AA universe and the types of characters and artwork they like.
• DO GIVE HELPFUL CRITIQUE and opinions about OCs and artwork. It also helps if artists will talk about their work openly so we can learn more about their wonderful creations and the people who made them.
• DO NOT DISCUSS ABSENT OCs and creators. Artist's names are withheld in the contest listings, and we respect their right to anonymity. An OC and their creator must be signed up for this thread as explicit consent to public exposure and discussion. OCs and art are very personal works, and it just isn't fair to talk about this stuff without giving the artist a chance to represent themselves.
• DO SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE if you are a fanartist with a contending OC. Signing up allows people in this thread to discuss your OC and your artwork, plus you get to talk with them about it, too! It's good to show off; you're proud of your work, and even if you aren't we'll try to make you feel like you should be.
• PARTICIPATION IS OPTIONAL. OC creators have every right to maintain their personal space. This thread is not an official arm of Court-Records or contest staff; it is for users, by users, and any user's participation is entirely their choice.

HOW DO I SIGNED UP?
The only requirements are that you are a fanartist with a registered forum account here on Court-Records, and that you are submitting an OC to the 2010 OC Contest. If you meet those criteria, please send a PM to me with your name and your OC's information! Your personal art thread and/or art website account are useful, too.

Please note that artwork displayed here may not have been submitted to the 2010 OC Contest, and thus may not have bearing on voter's or judge's opinions. In no way is this a complete list of OCs submitted to the 2010 OC Contest; some characters listed here may not appear in the final round of voting. Before voting in the 2010 OC Contest, please make sure to review only the artwork and characters listed on Court-Records.net's web page.
