Anime Vegas '08 takes place at the Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas, NV from August 30 to September 1. I was there for the last two days, but I can't get over there today. :( I had fun, but I really didn't like the change of venue. It had taken place at Cashman Convention Center in previous years.

This is the first time I've ever cosplayed. I cosplayed as 3-1 Phoenix Wright. It's the first costume I've ever made! More people recognized me than I expected. Screams of "FEENIE!" soon followed by hugs and pictures became frequent.

But enough about me, I'm posting here for the cosplays I saw! I wished there had been more PW cosplays, but I found some good ones. ^_^













There was another one I didn't get to photograph. During the Masquerade the man in charge of Anime Vegas, Rich Stott, dressed up as the Judge. It was epic win!

So I'm not the only person on CR who went to Anime Vegas, am I?

Oh man, it looks like you totally had fun! If I had known, I would have definitely flown out to Vegas with my Edgeworth costume in tow. XD (I LOVE Las Vegas.)

Ooh, was doing a google search for a PW cosplayer from the local con last year and I find myself in the 2008 collection. I'm the Franziska here. Otherwise called Blackziska. Might wear it again for Anime Vegas 2010. :3

Also, I'm just a regular staff for the convention, not part of the Masquerade.

Cool. Wow, that was pretty long ago.
