I have never done cosplay before, please excuse the unaccuracy! I don't have a proper Maya costume so I ended up improvising, I didn't have any big purple beads, a magatama necklace or anything really :udgy:
I want to try more professional cosplay sometime :edgy:

I think it's pretty good!

If you ever do it again, though, you'll prolly wanna make a necklace like hers using Sculpey or something.

The clay shouldn't be hard to find--you can get it at pretty much any art store.

Looks really good and I love the sort of simple style. Too many cosplayers go all out and screw it all up with too much fully accurate jewellery and weaponry etc.
Great stuff :)

Simple, chic...

I LIKE IT! :D

It seems like an outfit you can wear casually, which is a definite plus. And you look adorable, sweetie. :]
And I, for one, can see no blood.
From the hearts and the wrists you allegedly slit.
And I, for one, won't stand for this.
If this scene were a parish, you'd all be condemned.

You make an awsome Maya! :-P I think thats realy good for just improvising! I would try to make the beads or magtama. But it really is great for a first cosplay!

OMG!!!! MAYA MADE A COHERENT STATEMENT IN THE TITLE?!?!?
And no mention of stepladders, either!

In other words, I kinda think the costume is cute. And very good for improvisation, as you say it.
