Hey! I had a question about something related to cosplay, but it isn't for cosplay reasons, if that makes any sense

You see, I've always wanted to try Iris/Dahlia's hair style, but I can't really tell how to do it. Is it a frenchbraid across the head like a crown, or just a regular braid, etc.? If any past Iris/Dahlia cosplayers could let me know what they did, I'd be grateful!

Oh, and if this kind of topic is "illegal" then please close without any hesitation. :sadshoe: I just didn't know where else to ask.

I think that, unless you have EXTREMELY think bangs/hair towards your forehead, then you would want to do a french braid. The normal braid would probably not stand up to everyday "wear-and-tear", if you will. A french braid uses more hair from different spots, and is therefore more durable. While I have never cosplayed Dahlia or Iris, I think that french braiding would be far more practical.

Hope that helped!

Thank you!

I actually have strange hair. It's very straight and pretty thin; I mean, it's not like balding thin, but it isn't thick, curly hair.

I'll have to try it sometime; I can french braid my own hair, which I find surprising, since I can't french braid others' hair that well (I literally have to close my eyes!)

Lol, in any case, that was helpful, thanks! :edgy:

If you do need thicker hair, just put in hair extentions below the part of left over hair that you use.
Does that make sense?
LikeXD
Layer 1 will be the braid
Then layer 2 will be your normal hair left over
then layber 3 is the extentions.

You can get some really good cheep extentions that are put in with this tape thing?
Its really easy and looks nice =D
