*note* It's probably a better idea to use bobby pins more sparingly since well... that little pile is all I have right now along with no hairspray on hand. But this is a method to ensure nice loops that you have better control over adjusting the shape. I hope it has been useful one way or another!

This may depend how you want to fix his antennae hair to your head. Because the front isn't very long or thick clump of hair, you can still get away with either super strong hairspray (Got2B screaming hold is very good for that) or hair wax (that I have not played with so I can't tell you much on that) without floral wire. The floral wire is better use on things that have relatively long hair and weird shapes (pretty much anything beyond spiking up). I hope that helps =)
