Hi, I'm going to Anime Expo this year so I'm planning on going as Hobohodo , I was hoping that maybe someone has the Papa pattern on the hat I could make print out as a template I could use to sew it on .
Also, since they don't allow signs of any type to the convention I'm making the objection sign a flag instead.
I need a little help picking out the right thing to use as a rod, the size of the flag itself. how much fabric do I need to purchase and whether I should use iron on fabric or regular red fabric and outline it with fabric paint or something.

Anyway. For a flag! I'm guessing half a yard of white fabric would be good. Iron on fabric for the red lettering will probably work nicely if you can find some big enough, sewing them on by hand will be a pain. You can probably go to a hardware store for a small flagpole. 3ft sounds nice.

Wouldn't you need a huge ass printer to print it out or a bunch of little ones together?
I'd be using a machine to do that, I'd be downright suicidal to attempt to sew the flag.
As for the box idea... I have no idea where I would get a box that size without any lettering on it.
