Connecticon 2009?

I don't know much about Connecticon, except that it was advertised during Anime Boston and that it's from something like July 31st to August 2nd (Fri-Sun). I did some digging, but I'm still not sure how much of a scale it has as a convention (whether it's as grand as Anime Boston or not, how many voice actor guests they'll have, etc. etc.) since that sort of detail wasn't included in any of the brochures or forums.

I'm still deciding myself on if I should go or not, since traveling and staying there would cost lots of money and quite a bit of time (about 3 hours for combined train and bus trips one way?), so I was wondering if anybody else would be heading there?

I went there last year. I may go there this year. Definitely not the full weekend.

That sounds good, let me know if you end up there! I think at this point, that as long as I can find a room to stay in from Thursday through Saturday night, I'll be going as Phoenix again... which hopefully I should be able to confirm soon.

I guess nobody else here will be attending then? :s

I'm going! I'm not sure if I'll be able to bring my cosplays though. If I do go, I'll probably be either Apollo or Cody Hackins.

Ah, I see! Unfortunately it's gotten a bit murky for me, and I have a feeling that I might not be attending. If I am attending though, I'll let everyone know.

Well, it's 3 weeks at this point, and I'm definitely attending- I already have my room arrangements reserved and all that.

Is anybody else from CR going to attend? Who knows? There may be another Ace Attorney cosplayer, but knowing beforehand would be great :D.

I'm going! Last year I met a lot of ace attorney cosplayers. This year I don't think anyone from that group is doing PW, but I'm going as Olga Orly for at least one day!

I'll be there the whole weekend. I went as Godot last year and I'll be going as him again this year ^_^ Anyone know if there's going to be a group get-together for picture taking?

Ah, damnit. Things went wrong LAST second and I wasn't able to attend this time... I'm pretty disappointed overall, but I hope you have fun! If you take interesting pictures, be sure to put them up!

I was REALLY hoping to participate in the court case, but I guess I'll have to let that go for next year :(.

I'm still regretting that I wasn't able to make it; at this point it looks like I'll have to wait until next year to try on the Phoenix costume again- I think it'll be Anime Boston? Thanks for showing the pictures, though-

I wanted to participate in the Cosplay Court Case as well, but I s'pose I'll have to push that aside with the others.
