The Cosplay Court Case was made of suck and fail.
There was no moderation. It needed it badly. The Judge should have been one of the people running it, Cosplay Court or not.
A lot of our best prosecutors - Edgeworth, Godot, Klavier - were pushed into the second group that never went... while the Franziska who went up was basically allowed no lines. Meanwhile on the other side you had myself as Mia and a very nervous Phoenix doing our best...
Aaaaaand a lot of not-so-good overly excitable cosplayers from various other seires who outnumbered us and wouldn't let us talk. They didn't have the audience vote on the lawyers like they had for the judge. No, they let anyone who wanted to be a lawyer be a lawyer. And one woman whose cosplay I didn't even recognize said directly to myself and the Phoenix (and the other defense attorneys too, I think, but she was definitely looking at Phoenix and I most of all) "Just let me do all the talking." Hahahaa, bitch, please? I didn't cosplay a single female lawyer and show up at a courtroom just to look pretty. Meanwhile, our Phoenix was nearly pushed off the stage by the carelessness of the other "lawyers". I did my best to help him, telling him it'd be all right, asking him to smile, even getting him a cup of water - but the rest of the courtroom really did a good job crushing his spirits.
Time ran wild, despite us having a great stopping point when a mistrial was declared - no, they just swapped the judges and kept going, letting the other lawyers to rot. And the new judge, Jiraiya from Naruto? Totally not IC. At the end, we had actually somehow established a pretty solid defense, and someone else came forward and confessed to the crime. And yet he declared the defendant Guilty. Soooo, being a Single Female Lawyer with D Cups of Justice, I leaned over very deliberately and asked the judge so~ nicely to overturn the verdict. ... and, despite that, he refused. What the hell? That would have been as IC as it got, dude. Way to fail.
I just... argh, so much rage!

Though there was an awesome moment. One of my friends from the interwebs was like 'OMG I KNOW YOU. You're Richard Wellington!' and I was like 'lol yes 8D' and she was like 'I know cause I have a friend who's obsessed with him!' and I was like orly? Cause I love finding other Richard fans. And I was like 'What's his or her name?' and she was like 'idk her real name, but I know everyone calls her Oos.' And I lol'd. She felt bad after, but hey. *shrug* I understand perfectly. XD;
