So my sister and I are going as Pearl and Mia for Halloween (yes we still dress up. 8C stfu It's my birthday that day) and also the NYCC next February. I've got my costume down, but my sister's a different story. She's the same age as Pearl and isn't very tall, which is why I'm having a hard time finding the clothes for her. The ribbon isn't an issue; I got that at Walmart, but I can't find the light pink sun dress (at least, I assume that's what it is) and lilac robe. I'm not sure if I should just buy fabric and cut/tailor it for her myself, or purposely hunt for something close enough to it.

This is my first time making cosplays/doing cosplays, so I'd like any advice.

Well for her bracelet you could just get a thinner ribbon and tie it around her wrists. For the necklace you can get clay and then paint it when it's dry. If your really good at making spheres you could make the circles outta clay too but it might be heavy so you can get white beads at probably any arts in craft store. For the pink sleeves over the lighter pink thing (sorry I have no idea what these things are called xD) maybe if you found a sweater like that and just cut the sleeves or maybe you should try looking somewhere else. As for the long light pink thing underneath that, maybe you could find a small dress like that somewhere, but it isn't really that hard to make (as long as you know how to sew). Sorry if this was confusing or didn't really help but I'm also kinda new at this cosplaying thing too, but I do have a Iris cosplay and I hope this helps in some way C:

I just used a kimono pattern to sew mine (My friends did, too). All you really need to do is make it shorter. I didn't sew sleeves onto the dress part, either...

If you've sewn before, or know someone who can sew and help you, it's not that hard to sew :) I managed to do it with very little sewing experience ^^

I really want to re-make mine, though XD
