Young Ema Skye is going to be my first cosplay and I need some help/opinions about it.

1. What on earth is that cat pin thing on her bag called? -_-
Does anyone know where I can find a big picture of The Pink Princess to try and copy/draw? 8D

2. Do you think I can pull her off her with black hair? [I'm asian, btw], our hair is similar just mine is ... well ... black.

3. Anyone know where I can buy some big yellow buttons? :D I've had to resort to making them and EETZ KELLING ME.

OOO! I did this cosplay a couple of times.

1. I think it's the pink princess, actually.
2. Ab-so-lutely!
3. I used yellow felt that had a sticky side and put it on the vest.

Ohhhh~ Ema would be such a fun cosplay [both older and younger!] I wanna try it soon too...

Yeah, I'm sure you could do it! =D You could try to get a wig to be perfect, and people will notice, but if your in character enough or just dont wanna spend money on a wig thats ok! I'm sure it'll be fine ^_^


I used this button patter, went out to a craft store and bought a change-able button thing [I forget the official name! xD] sized the picture and BAM. Perfect! It was a replaceable button, so I just popped the back off and slid the picture in.

2. It's black in non - sunlight but in sunlight it looks brown. Ehh how black? ... Black with a tiny incy wincy tinge of brown in non sunlight. xDD??

I pretty much went by the scan for the buttons and made my own pictured here, it's a bit different than how most people do it but it's just paper and clear tape and then I had these pins with a sticky back on it and just stuck them on. Oddly enough they've been pretty study for just plain old paper.

I used my own hair for her as well (me: black hair & asian too) and as long as you have the other pieces, I assure you, people that know Ema can still tell that you're cosplaying her good luck!

I dont think it matters what hair color you have, I bet you'll make an awesome Ema no matter what! [well, if you had like platinum blond hair then maybe a wig, haha XD]

Hmmm...her shoes dont seem as bright red, and they are the kind that buckle more than lace up. If you cant find anything closer I think they'll be fine =]

Well the cosplay is finished and done.

I photoshopped these photos a bit so the colours are a bit off =/
And the glasses aren't as pink as they should be...
ANDANDAND I bought a wig - but no matter what I did it wouldn't cooperate so I had to make do with my own hair. -__-
