I don't know if it's technically cosplay or not, but...
I really want to dress up for Halloween (if I'm able to) as Diego Armando... can't have the hair (naturally) since I can't pull that off due to my job requiring short hair and being clean shaven... even if I could have long hair it's too short to grow out in time.
So I'd have to supply substitutes for those two things.

Any good ideas where to find the necessary items, or what to use?
Other than a coffee cup, obviously.
Also I can't pierce my ears.

I'm not really an expert on Diego/Godot cosplays but maybe you could get a red kinda long sleeve shirt and then get like a ribbon or some kind of belt ting and tie it around and kinda scrunch it up a bit (the shirt sleeves) to give it the look and then get a vest and black tie. I'm sorry I'm not really any help but you can try this thread.

Oh it's ok. I'm just personally wondering where i could get a suit piece(s) like he wears for cheaper... but I suppose I could look around some clothes stores in the area.
But I'd forgotten about the armband things.

thanks for the reminder. :javado:

For the earning, you can always get clip-ons. They're available at most stores that sell jewelry (Walmart, Target, etc.) You might have to by a set of two because I don't think there are too many single clip-on earnings (they're mostly for women).

Well, Diego wears 2 earrings, so that's not really a problem ;)

For the beard, perhaps you can use some black make-up stuff? *is clueless about that kind of stuff*

Like someone said, he does in fact wear two on one ear. So not too big a problem if I can find the right ones.
(lol.... Ima guy....this is awkward talking about earrings and shopping like that. :redd: )

But hey. For the love of Diego, right?
And... I don't know about the makeup either unfortunately, though I do appreciate the idea. I'd have to have something that could stay on, but wash off fairly easy in like, the shower or something. I have a job that is kinda... annoying with personal appearances sometimes.

I forgot about that. I guess I was thinking of Klavier's ear when I thought about the idea. Anyway, what Bad Player is refering to (I hope) is eye liner. You can get that anywhere that sells cosmetics (at various prices, but I would stick to the cheapest since its not going on your eyes). It should wash off with soap and water since you are concerned about that. If that doesn't work or if you're nervous you can always buy eye make up remover.

Oh heheh sorry ^^; anyways you should be able to find a simple shirt for cheap at WalMart or Target kinda places. I too agree on the eyeliner, it should be easy to get off. I also heard that Winners sells cheap shoes if you need any (I don't think the shoes are the hard part though).

Hm, it may not be the best sugestion, but for the beard I think mascara would be better than eyeliner.
Eyeliner would probably make it look to linear, and drawn on.
You could start with and eyeler base, just to tell you where you are going, then brush the line that you just made with the mascara.
It would make it look more beard like in my opinion.
Liquid mascara by the way. (Uh, at the store ask for stuff that makes your eyelashes bigger, liquid form XD)

I wasn't aware that they made any other kind of mascara. Mascara might not dry properly on bare skin, but you can always experiment before hand to see what works best.

Or you could just use a crayola washable marker for the facial hair... I mean it's just halloween, and markers are cheap(free, even, you could just take one from your cousin or something xD). If it were me, that's what I'd do o.o

For your hair you might be able to find a cheapo wig and hack it up XD they're bound to be some in the halloween sections of a store, or even a thrift store...(but you might want to boil one you get from there haha! XD; )

Uh, yeah. XD
