I know this looks really early, and I haven't even seen let alone played the damn game, but I think Kay Faraday is adorable and I love her style.

And I want to wear a big key in my hair like that because that's just awesome. Maybe I'll even consider doing a cosplay of her, but for now... I want that key. Seriously: it's just all flavours of ridiculously cute and quirky... (and yes, I'm whacky enough to wear something like that around. I went through a period of wearing homemade fascinators everywhere, my trademark scarf used to be a Slytherin one, and in the past I've been stylistically inspired by characters from video games... I'm like that. :) ) wantwantwant.

So... does anyone have an idea where the hell I'd get said key, or failing that, how I could create one? It's purdy.

Use 1/2 inch CPVC, smaller if you can. Make the key from that and, preferably wood, but cardboard works, too. The ring at the end will be hardest. I can't think of too many good ways to do it. You might try some of the styrofoam rings at craft stores. Glue it all together, hit it with gold spray, and voila!

For my key, I used 3/8" dawl rod for the base, the key knobby is 1/2" pine, cut to shape with a jigsaw, the circle at the end is actually a plastic ring, used to hang small cross-stitch designs and the three keys hanging from it are just key charms, strung on with jewelry wire. And then I spray painted the whole thing, this being my final result:
