I decided that I would cosplay Hobo-Phoenix thinking that it would be easy to do. So far it's been much harder than I expected. Finding the right color jacket, the right colors for the stripes. Bah, makes me give you guys more kudos when you create those awesome costumes. Anyway, getting to the point, I'm having trouble finding the locket he wears, I've found some that look perfect, but are real gold so they cost wayyyy to much for something I'll only wear a few times.

So, can any of you guys help? Much thanks in advance! :hobohodo:

If you can't find anything close, maybe make it out of clay and paint it metallic gold? My friends used clay to make their Maya and Mia magatamas, and they came out looking good. And we used gold metallic paint for attorney's badges.

Hmm... Lockets of the kind that Hobohodou wears shouldn't be that difficult to find. A local gift shop or other places where anonymous, but cheap trinkets are sold. If you want to, you can find a locket of the same size and shape and then paint it.

I found this for you. Use the method at the bottom and it might be effective. I have never worked with metal before, so don't take my word for it.

hmmm, cool, thanks a lot for the help guys! :redd:
First i'll give the clay a shot and see how that works out, and if I don't like it I'll go hunt for a cheap locket and just paint it gold. Thanks again!
