A few grammar mistakes, and graphical problems (Such as GBA sized textbox and no PW font) But it looks interesting.

Looks like you had the same problem i did with the gavel slam. A better font for the text is Microsoft sans serif. Otherwise good start.

Alright, you've been updating rather frequently. Let's take a look... pretty solid, but what's with the capitalization. It's like you're trying to Emphasize words by Capitalizing them at Inappropriate Places. And when you do this with "He" and "Him," it creates the appearance that you are referring to God. Also, "definitely" not "definatly" and "an attorney" not "a Attorney." Payne's line in the latest comic should read "Detective, please tell the court exactly what happened that day" not "Detective, please tell the court exactly, What happened that day". By the way, your sprites are acceptable, but what's with the colors? It looks like you're only using Paint's default palette! My friend, you should at least grab colors from other game sprites, if you're having trouble picking them!

Sorry if I sounded angry or rant-y; I'm looking forward to the development of this story.

Yeah sorry about that, There were no real colors that would work with him, so I may try changing it by using paint shop pro. I'll post it on my sprite topic, then you can tell me which you like better.

You could just recolour it in paint and it'd look better...

Hold it one second.

Did you ask Ceres if you could use that example of an improved Malcolm for the boxarts? Plus, don't use sprites for boxarts either. They look kind of bad like that, and undersized.

Anyway, the comic looks good so far.

He did not make it for you to use. He made it as an example for what you should do to improve it :yogi:

Hmm, having read the recent post in your comic, t would seem you're still having problems with colours.
I could go on here, explaining in depth on how to fix it, but to make it easier i quickly made this.
Far from perfect, but i rushed it somewhat.

Image

Remember, colours and shading are 2 aspects needed which make a sprite look good. (Stay away from default paint colours!)
That, and time. Don't rush things (Irony? :p) , Take all the time you need, and it'll look a lot better.

This is the First Serious sprite I have done, Not just for fun.

lolwhat? There are no serious sprite edits pal, we all do this for fun or out of boredom.
When it stops being fun, don't do it. :P

When you think about it......... I guess He didn't give it to me, But he didn't say it wasn't for me either.
I'll just ask him later.

But he's giving you advice to improve it. I'd call what he gave you a complete sprite, so I doubt he'd give you advice to improve it.

Also, you should have asked and credited anyway.
