It's really obvious who did it.
Then again, that character's pretty awesome, so I'm not upset.

It can't be an accident (already done, not to mention impossible in this case) or a suicide (impossible), so it had to be a murder. Only three original characters have been introduced. And unless the last few panels have been another giant red herring, one in particular had the opportunity to kill the victim the way he did and, most importantly, to get away with it. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was the guy everyone's been talking about in recent posts.

i thought that at first but think about it
there is no motive,
no opportunity,
also why put the card there?
If he wanted to take the blame off him, why not blame francais?... why take the blame off him
also, how did he know tskui was a girl? It seems pretty weired because every one else didn't, and why break into a lab you get 24 hour access to?
these are things you need to think about

Plus if something is stolen from the lab and there was no attempt at a break-in or anything noticable, they'd look to the man that has 24 hour access, who'd be able to do so, and is involved in the case the stolen item/items were no-doubt from , but if it were noticably stolen with a forced exit, why would they suspect him?

The person who broke in didn't want anyone to know that it was an inside job.

Also to steal from Gumshoe's locker you would need a fingerprint, so he had to blow up the safe.

Today I dreamt with Francis Equitas. No, really.
I dreamt I was playing MUGEN (a fully customizable fighting game) with my brother on versus mode.
There was various characters, but one of them caught my attention...
Why, it was Francis himself! He was in The King Of Fighters-style and with a different clothing.
Boy, he sure know how to fight when serious. Here's his new look:

GREENY~

I had a really weird dream last night. This is the first dream I've remembered in MONTHS.
In it, I was dreaming (well, I dreamed that I woke up afterward? O_o) that I was roleplaying (wow, that's meta) Kristoph (? I don't RP Kristoph) and he met Tsuki and Joseph, who both had Brittish accents for no apparent reason. Tsuki did basically nothing, but Joseph was sitting in an armchair at what seemed to be a crimescene (police were running around anyway) reading a newspaper and talking about lost cats and children. He had an obviously evil voice and was talking like he ate them or something.

Based on this bizarre evidence, it's obvious that Joseph did it.

The fact that me and Victor-Leal both dreamed about your comic is freaking me out a bit.

For some reason, the British accents bit doesn't surprise me at all.

Also, have you by any chance read "Kafuka on the beach", by Haruki Murakami...?
Because of the eating lost cats and all. Don't ask.

Anyways, yes that is a very weird dream.

Either way, I heard you like UPDATES so I put one on the first page so you can read it while you have nother better to do.
Spoiler:
Yes, the perspective might be a bit weird with the view obstructed by assorted chemicals... But you gotta admit, it is a nice rack.

Huh? Why?

The evidence stolen from Black's lab was evidence that could likely be important to the case: Remember the third gunshot Francis thinks he heard? That bullet in the wall could account for it. Nobody but the killer would rob it. And of course, this begs the question why Black would rob his lab when he has access to it any time he wants without anybody getting suspicious.

Let's think about this from another way. We're assuming Black was the killer and that he did NOT stage a break-in. Now, wouldn't people NOTICE if someone was stolen? I mean, it's crucial evidence, of course some one would notice and there have been no break-ins at all, so the suspicion would obviously go to the one who DID have access 24/7 to the lab. He needed to pin the crime on SOMEONE.

Assuming you're talking about the hotel. Well, I was hoping someone would figure it out by themself, so I could hand out some more nonexistant prizes, but if you really want to know the secret....

It's really a brilliant ploy of deKiller:
Spoiler: The Secret
The key here, is the question itself. "Tsuki hadn't sent the text message, when he did ask for it, so how would he know the room number?"

If you would think so, others would too, right?

Let's not forget two things.
1: deKiller has a bellboy costume.
2: deKiller is being sought after by police.

So then, let's look at it this way: for being a notorious killer, letting people met on the web meet him at a hotel sure isn't a very safe idea; even the police could have been at that hotel if they had been very careful in first contacting deKiller.

Now let's go back to my initial statement. Keep in mind, the police don't know what deKiller looks like. Blending in the surroundings as a bellboy, he can easily follow the subject. Now, he can come into the room before the alotted time, prior to having been sent the room number.

He states he is room service and comes into the room. This way, he can catch the police off-guard - they haven't sent the message, so they do not expect it to be him. He can evaluate their behaviour up close, and simply pass it off as getting the room number for the room service wrongly. Then, he makes his getaway.

This is deKiller's plan.
