That's quite the post. XD Indeed, Ami now has to seriously focus herself. If it wasn't bad enough that she's stuck in some kind of deranged alternate Nix-less reality where she isn't even herself, she now has to deal with those stressful court situations she thought she was avoiding. Things are certainly stirring up big-time in her mental battle.
Still amazing though,keep it up!
Wow, I'm surprised to hear that you hadn't expected this particular entry. I've actually had the script ready for that cutscene since almost the beginning of R~C. ^_^; And here I thought that I was being too obvious about where the story is headed! I'm glad to hear that I can still drop a mini-bombshell and make things interesting.
The conclusion to this important chapter should be out (hopefully) within the next week. Fingers crossed, guys!
PS: Speaking of having scripts ready well in advance, did you know that I've already written the majority of 2-3? It won't be very long since it's a gag case. In fact, I have most of the ending and several key bits from the throughout the series done already. ^_^; It's just the little details that I get hung up on. That was my major problem with 2-2. I had to restudy the script and play through part of the case to get everything back in my head. -_-

True story: I saw this show on Broadway once. I had no idea what the show was about in advance... I thought it would be a more, er, traditional play about horror. Needless to say, the show was rather shocking.

Sorry. ^_^; I suppose there's a little explanation in order. During a midnight showing of the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show, it is customary for the audience to recite special lines that make fun of the movie. For instance, a character says, "And say hello... to oblivion!" and the audience shouts, "HI OBLIVION, HOW'S THE WIFE AND KIDS?!" One of the AP (audience participation) jokes that is very popular is to shout "ASSHOLE!" every time the character Brad is onscreen, which is much of the movie. ^_^; Ami is rightfully very pissed at Edgeworth, so she vows to call him an asshole every time he's mentioned. "I see you shiver with antici... pation," is a very famous line from the movie.

So guys, here's a little bump: I've been developing another KiSS (Kisekae Set System) doll, this time based on R~C's very own Ami! The doll below was made using an official art of Mia that was resized, traced, edited, and recolored. I've already planned to create some more outfits, possibly a new one to accompany each release of R~C, and then it hit me... I really want to start a contest and see other kisekae talents at work!

R~C KISEKAE DESIGNER CONTEST!
Objective: Create an awesome new outfit for Ami's KiSS doll using the base provided.
Deadline: Friday, September 12, 2008
Prize: Negotiable (Custom sprite from yours truly? Appearance in R~C?)
Details: Outfit must suit the guidelines of Court-Records.net. (It can't be sexually explicit. A dominatrix costume or lingerie is fine, provided everything is adequately covered.)
Any form of outfit accepted! (Casual, formal, cosplays, swimwear, fantasy, sci-fi; the sky's the limit!)
All submissions will be posted for all readers of R~C to see, so do your best work!
Please submit in a good format like PNG so there will be no image quality loss.
Winner(s) will be chosen by Tajiri Ami.

Actually, as I recall, it's because Trucy is underage that you received the ban (Ami is 22, so no worries there). I still highly disagree with the mods as far as your ban is concerned, but that's another matter entirely (LOL, ex post facto ruling). If I do receive a suggestive outfit, I'll simply link to it as a precautionary measure. Thanks for your concern, though.
I really admire your spriting abilities. I look forward to seeing your entry! KiSS (as the linked article would explain) are essentially computerized paper dolls.

I had thought of a few options:
-I could do a more realistic type paintover of the Ami sprite you provided.
-I could do an original drawing of some kind.
-I could attempt spriting. It's not my forte, but I was tempted to at least try my hand at Ami in Fire Emblem cosplay. Are you familiar with this game? You might suggest a game you are familiar with.
-Ami cosplaying as Nami from One Piece. This could look pretty cool, I think. Again, the effect may be lost if you have no idea what this anime is =P.
-Ami in some other outfit?
You could invent something else altogether if you've got a good idea =D.
