Ripped from the actual games, GBA quality. In case you didn't know the main advantage is WAAAAAY smaller filesize. (But still accurate!)

Download Site

If anyone with a midi-editing program wants to make those have more accurate instruments, be my guest.

Holy shit! This is awesome, considering how crappy the DS renders .mp3 files. Thanks man.

EDIT: Just used an extracted .mid and converted to a .mod :) .mod playing anyone?

Wow, I wonder what that unused track is? :maya:

This looks pretty cool, I'll have to check it out (it'd be great for making remixes or ringtones :will: ). Cheers~!

I'm just wondering if it was possible to record a .mid file without using the "Stop" button to stop the recording of the song. I noticed your Cornered .mid is very fluent and does not go over the maximum time of the .mid file. Just wondering how you did that?

I pressed "Record to MIDI" under tasks.

It then automatically played and recorded whatever was being played. However it did not stop at the end of the song, it just looped. The looped part ended up being recorded as well.

Press play. Press STOP. THEN press record.
EDIT: Wait, "tasks"? I think you got the wrong one, look for the "desnet download page" link, not the "kifo kyuya" thing.

Also, update. Turns out the unused song was just the detention center, coming out terribly. I think a track is missing.

I'm using a patched english one I think. I'll see if I can find this other one you seem to be talking about.

MrCheeze, just wondering if you were going to complete the sets for JFA and T&T? I honestly cannot get Sappy (your version) to run on my computer. No rush though, just wondering if you were planning to do it. Thanks!

I'll be sure to upload the .mods created from the .mids to accompany your files.

The only website I could find with them only allows dl'ing one rom per day, but yeah.

That's kinda weird, I mean I have windows 98. Don't know what you've got but it's probably better than that.

Currently having problems ripping GS2 and GS3. The second version of Sappy might work, but it doesn't run on this computer.

EDIT: Or on the other one.

I'll test it out with the 2nd version of Sappy.

Found the requirements for GS2/3

A3GJ,0002E584,"Gyakuten Saiban 2 (J)",""
A3JJ,00054824,"Gyakuten Saiban 3 (J)",""

I'll be dumping the .mid files and uploading them soon. :)

GS2 has the GS1 soundtrack in there o_O

EDIT:

Place these in your sappy.lst:

A3GJ, Gyakuten Saiban 2 (J), sapphire, blank, blank, &H2E584, 0, 0
A3JJ, Gyakuten Saiban 3 (J), sapphire, blank, blank, &H54824, 0, 0

EDIT: Just finished ripping GS2, moving on to GS3.

Protip: GS2 songs start at track 200, GS3 songs start at track 300.

I wouldn't be surprised. Some tracks, such as Suspense, are used in GS2-3.

You got it working? Cool, Sappy2 didn't work on either computer for me. Don't forget the GS1's Turnabout Sister Ballad, since I didn't get it.

That's the .midi files for GS 2/3. I also included converted .it (Modules) files :D

You can upload if you'd like, and credits would be nice.

I honestly don't know, a lot of the songs were messed up (especially the instruments).

I tried converting the .mid files into .mod files but apparently I need to extract samples from each and every one of them (hell no).

I think you only put the JFA songs that were left behind in T&T.

I couldn't include some of the JFA/T&T songs because Sappy would crash whenever I got to their address. The other Sappy, the one that you can't use, works going to those addresses, but it records horribly.
