Conrad 'Barron' Hilton...you are my new hero.

Now that is what we call good parenting. If my granddaughter were to make an ass of herself like that, I wouldn't reward it. I'd say "You fucked up, now you have to work for a living. Welcome to reality!"

Eh, call it justice if you want, I'd rather think of it as common sense. I don't think this will stop her from being a royal pain in the ass, though.

I bet they're all dipshits anyways, and if they ever actually NEEDED the money, they could just prove to their grandfather that they weren't faggots and earn his respect.

Not really going to affect her that much. She'll still be famous, she's still got what she already had, she'll still end up making money from merchandise, still end up making money from acting and music that sucks, etc.

Now, if only the rest of the planet could follow suit :

She is also set to star in a new MTV cartoon and a Bollywood film whose director is said to be keen to cast her in the role of Mother Teresa.

Face it people, Paris ain't going out like that.

...You realize the grandfather's inheritance is only money for after the old man dies, right? I mean, she's still filthy rich.

She didn't have his money yet, and never will; so really, it's like nothing happened.

Honestly, I think it just cuts a little bit of assured cashflow (in the sense that I don't believe she would have been able to do all this shit if it wasn't for her family name and the cash associated to it), but let's face it : The girl is in so many projects that she will have enough money to keep up her idiotry for centuries to come.

Prestige, maybe, but cash flow, not so much. Granted, who knows when he might die, but she's still got more money than most people will ever see.

Plus, her parents can still leave her money; it's not like her Grandfather's will would have been her only source of profit.

It's too little, too late, honestly.

That, and her freaking mother is about as much of a dumbshit as she is.

Is an individual's worth still weighed by their character and reputation anymore?
Whether or not she would've got his inheritance is hardly the issue here.
While I had hoped the majority of her "stunts" were simply staged performances (except for the past DUIs, of course), this information proves that she is actually a "dumb blonde".
A shame she only added more fuel to this stereotype, but that's beside the point.
It's nice to see someone of the Hilton family name with some dignity.
Whatever relationship she's had with her grandfather has just been dealt a great blow.
With this kind of statement, can you imagine the humilation she must be feeling now?
The only other disgraceful act would be her family disowning her; whether or not you consider that a blessing is of your own accord.

In any case, she has hit the peak of her career.
As everyone has said, she will have to make her own way.
Sure, she has a lot of money now, but you'd be surprised how quickly that stuff burns out.
Even in her situation, she'll eventually run dry if she doesn't get her act together.

Personally, she should cancelled ALL of her current projects and "vanish" for a couple of years. This should give the majority enough time to erase most of her negative image. She should take this time to reflect on her past actions and REALLY decide on her plans for the future.

Unless they're talking about another "Mother Teresa", heads are gonna roll over this movie, comedy or not*.

*The idea of casting Paris as this historical figure is just about as logical as giving an AO rating to a game based on a feature that is only accesssible if you were geeky enough to take the time to find it (yes, I'm talking about THAT game): It makes no freakin' sense!
I have seen many Bollywood films (I thank my sister for that....ugh:<). You gotta give 'em props for some of their movies....very interesting stories and songs.
Personally, some of 'em (mostly those that fall under "romantic comedy") feel like a live-action Disney movie....complete with musical numbers and dance sequences! Not that it's a bad thing, though.

Paris won't have hit the 'peak' of her career for a while, tbh. Sure, people may think it, (or wish it) but she's still, for the most part, bankable--if not for any reason other than she attracts the attention of the media by virtue of being a walking attention whore. (literally, perhaps.)

Since no one's stated what her own personal 'net worth' is, and the fact that her parents haven't 'disowned' her, I would be relatively surprised by the unlikely event of Paris Hilton having to settle for anything less than the finest.

That's true... Paris Hilton didn't get where she is today becuase of her Granddaddy's inheritance money, now did she? Rather, she got where she is because of A) being a Hilton, B) jumping aboard as many different projects as possible. So I think she'll be just fine without his help.

Regardless, it's still somewhat satisfying to see that someone in that family has come to their senses and realized what an idiot she can be.

The only way I can see that happening is if she pulls a MC Hammer.
