I'm sure a lot of us are saving for something: A new game, a present for a loved one, a new car. So just put what you're saving for already!

I got a friend of mine to order a bunch of stuff off thinkgeek.com a few nights ago and I don't actually have the money to pay him back... so I'm gonna have to starve or something.

But I get a shirt with pi on, so it's totally worth it :D

All of my money I earn, with little exception, goes straight to my bank. I more or less have a couple thousand dollars in there. For a fifteen year old, this is big. I plan to keep this fund growing. I spend very little of what I make because I want to get ahead. I never, at any point in my life, want to suffer money troubles or say "I wish I could've afforded that". I want to be rich. Fucking rich. Huge money fucking rich! This is a head start I can't let pass by.

I call it my "Get Me the Fuck Out of Here" fund.

I'm redesigning my bedroom when my new bed arrives in a few weeks, so I'm saving up for cushions, fabric, this funky pirate mat, a big cork board to put my drawings on, a big mirror and anything else I see that looks nice. Plus I need the last few episodes of PSOH, so I'm saving up for them. Damn Borders not stocking them anymore so I have to buy them from Amazon at extortinate prices. :nick:

This bad boy. I'm going to replace the stock HDD with the Seagate Momentus 7200.2 7200RPM 120GB SATA 300 drive, and maybe put in a Robson cache as well.

To go with that I'm also getting a Seagate FreeAgent Pro 7200RPM 500GB external HD with USB 2.0 and eSATA connections. tbh I don't see the need for Firewire (Firewire 800 is twice as fast as USB 2.0, but I won't be using this HDD very often outside of my own home) and the FreeAgent's handling of Firewire connections is laughable at best; you need to swap the base module which is time-consuming and pointless. Saves a few bucks, too.

Right now I'm saving up for a new DS. D: My sister stepped on mine and now it just doesn't work. <_< She's not even a year old though, so I guess I can't blame her. Anyway, I'm only about $15 short and I'll probably have that much by the next time I go to the store.

Trips to next year's UFS Canadian Nationals, East Coast Championships (BIG friggin' maybe. Let's just say it's not an important tournament to me) and the UFS World Championships (which will happen at Gen Con this weekend. I'm talking about next year, myself).

I should be able to save enough for those if not more.

- SacAnime '08 Pre-Registration for both myself and my brother ($15, $30 for both)
- Tickets and Trip to Ring Of Honor in San Francisco ($50+)
- Guitar Hero 3 ($70 - $90)

Quite a lot, really. And it probably doesn't help that I lost all my money last Saturday. Literally lost. I dropped my money and some douchebag at Scandia probably has it now.

Benchmarks say the Robson cache isn't worth the (admittedly meager) price.

Two Worlds, a down payment on a car (soon I hope) and a Zune for someone. But he's going to pay me back as soon as I put it in his hands. . . so that one is ok.
Um. . . and a decent computer tower.

Thanks to the amazing Intel price slashes a top of the line machine that'll last you for years of high-end gaming and a number of years after that for just regular shit can be had for the low, low price of $1400.

Honestly, this is the year to build a gaming PC.

At this point, I'm taking 1/3 of my savings and buying either a new computer (which I'll run by zuddha since he knows his shit) or a good quality bass guitar (which I'll run by myself since I know my shit).
