Some friends started to call me Kabanossi because my name starts with K and A. Kabanossi is a saugage brand. First I hated that name, but I got used to the shorter version people started to use (Kaba), and I have used it ever since. I'm know as Kaba with my friends.
When I was on 7th-8th grade, I had put some gel into my hair, and my pals thought it looked like I was a porn star from the '70s. They instally came up with the name C-Frank (thanks to my real name again), and I adopted it. Some friends of mine still calls me Frank or C.
Besides of these, I've been called
- Kartsa (besides being just a common Finnish nickname, it means something like cigar box)
- Frägi (comes from my surename and resembles the word frag)
- Kaiffari (has a meaning of a friend. Really a slang word)
And there might be some other names I don't remember at the moment. And what do they say in Finland? Rakkaalla lapsella on monta nimeä. (A loved child has many names).
