Probably not awkward or weirdest thing but scary for me would be right now. So it's Halloween and my roommate and I both bought halloween costumes. I'm going as a Ghostbuster, i got the jumpsuit, a pair of converses I already own and it comes with a inflatable backpack with gun. It's pretty cool and not bad for $50 dollars.

But my roommate David decides to be the puppet from saw. You know the crazed clown with the red swirls on his white face and the frizzy black hair, it even comes with the whole tuxedo....he bought it for $130 dollars! Anyway I was coming home late from my internship and he jumps out of nowhere scaring me with the mask on in the dark. It scares the hell out of me.

Maybe about two days later, I get out of the shower and I walk over to my room where it's pitch black. Originally I had the lights on so I was a little bit skeptical. I turn on the lights and the mask is sitting on my bed....just scares the hell out of me. As of right now I don't know where the mask is. For all I know he could put it in the backseat of my car and I wouldn't notice.

this might cheer you up...or make you more scared

Well apparently my dad saw something about Facebook on the news and decided to check this site out. Soon as he's on the main page, he see's my face (i left it logged on). Luckily i haven't got anything too embarrassing on mine, maybe few far off friends from the internet's but thats fine.
Not so lucky for my sister, he checked out her quiz. Which contains the questions "What age did i lose my virginity?" and "How many times have i gone to the STD clinic". I feel sorry for my sister but i can't help laughing :keiko:

xD This topic is too funny. -tries to think of more experiences in boring life-

Well this was awkward for my friend. xD We had double earth science that day and were talking outside the classroom during the break. One guy from another class says "I'm starving, but my teacher won't let me eat in class." And my friend's like "Yeah, my teacher won't let us eat either but I do it anyway."
And then we hear "YOU DO?!?" from behind us, and when we turn around it's our science teacher.

Oops. xD

And next period she calls on her and is like "Answer the question Miss 'I eat in class even though my teacher says not to.'" xDDD She was bright red. I hope she doesn't find out that I smuggle poptarts into class every day and eat them when she's writing notes on the board. :edgy:

I agree. After all-boring lecture on science...the brown, goldeny delight that is hot fudge sundae poptarts...hard to resist.
*cough* Back on topic...this summer. A semi-scarring moment. We (me, my mom, and a friend) was cleaning up the last of our stuff after the movers had come through and packed everything. My mom had two or three large beer cans (filled with beer) in the backyard, each about 13 years old. She asked me to take them and throw them out. So I was in the front of the house, looking out on our cement porch, and I have the beer cans in a pyramid formation on my right hand, thinking how awesome this is that I'm actually carrying these cans of beer like this and they're not falling. So, of course, one of them falls. As it's falling, I think to myself "Well, at least it won't break." So (as you can all predict) as soon as it hits the cement, it breaks open and sprays 13 year old beer over just about everything on our porch-including me. Now, I really hate alcohol. I hate it with a burning passion-so I wasn't thrilled at all that I had beer all over me. So I lean down and put the cans of beer down on the carpet inside the house (still being inside), meaning to go and tell my mom and friend that there was beer all over the front porch and me. I dropped the cans on the floor (about an inch off it). You'd think I'd learned my lesson, huh? Well, another can of beer explodes-except this time, it's all over me instead of the porch. So I'm covered in beer, and I go around to tell my mom and friend that two cans of beer had exploded all over me. I go out, tell them, and...they start laughing. Really laughing. And I'm there nearly in tears.
Definately not the best day of my life. One of the worst, in fact. :edgy:

You know, Jammu-setä. The guy who raped those children and is now in prison. The one who is maybe the most well-known child molesterer(?) in Finland.

Oh man my life seems so normal in comparison. I don't have anything really scarring or weird, but I do have something funny and a bit awkward.
So a girls walks up to me in homeroom when I was drawing. She looks at my notebook at my sketch. She says "Is he made up or someone in school?"
"He's a character," I reply not really paying attention.
"Too bad, he's really hot," she answers and walks away. I stop, drawing and try not to burst out laughing. Now, I'm not a great artist or anything, but still, I was drawing Gant at the time. :gant:

Although it's not nearly as scarring as some other things posted here, I have a random incident which happened when I was at a baseball game.

Basically, me and my sister were sitting on the upper deck. It was near the end of the game, and there were quite a few drunks running around. So I'm sitting, watching the game, when all of a sudden a man goes flying. He flew through the air, bounced off some chairs, and nearly went over the side. If it hadn't been for a rail and/or some girls(who as a result of getting hit spilt beer all over the place) preventing him from going over, he probably would have died.

Basically, this was me: :beef:

The reason was because it was my fault; I had my knee out in the isle, so the man ran right into it. I felt so bad, but luckily no one knew I had done it(except for my sister).

One of my friends lived on the same street too and didn't know it until Jammu got arrested. That just shows you you can't be sure about anything. Anyone can be one like him...

If I may-OMG LOLZ ROFL. Feels wrong to say-after all, I'm posting this after the two people that lived on the same street as a rapist posted (my consolations. Good thing you guys weren't...raped...). But still.
Another random moment from my muffin life. I was walking home from school one day and I notice that there's some lady at the intersection. Not that strange-what is, however, strange is that she actually crossed the two streets that I cross to get home. Not many people do that, but neh, I brush it off. Unfortunatly, she starts talking to me. About all sorts of stuff-mostly about living in this..."town" when she was a girl. So she's going on and on, and I can't really do all that much (being the "passive" person I am, and not knowing if she'll go psycho on me if I ask her to stop talking to me), I just have to walk and listen. So she's going to turn and walk on the other street that I used to walk along to get home, and I'm just happy-until she decides to walk the way I'm walking. To cut myself off before I start really rambling-she went into some apartment, didn't find out where I lived, and all was well. No creepy person trying to get me in their apartment and molest me, as has been stated above (luckily).
To end on a slightly happier (and much more funny) note-thinking back to my 8 year old days, I remember one time when I was learning how to ride my bike. So this is the second time I'm going and not falling down, and I'm all happy, until I realize I'm heading towards a large, hard wall. Not a problem, right? I mean, all you have to do is brake, and you won't hit the wall. Well, being new to the whole bike thing, I didn't know how to stop...and promptly ran into the wall. :meekins: Yay me. :)

OK, this is something I did to someone, since I live a boring life and have no anecdotes.

A few friends and I went to see 30 Days of Night (A horror movie about Alaskan vampires) a few weeks ago, and after we got out of the theater I was walking across the parking lot and saw my friend and his girlfriend get into his car. I waved good-bye, but they didn't see me.

That's when I got an idea.

An awful idea.

THE GRINCH GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA.

I crept around to the passenger's side door, snarled my teeth in a kind of grimace, and just pounded on the window with my palms, and my friend's girlfriend jumped so high that she almost hit her head on the ceiling. I felt like a total dick when I stopped laughing about fifteen minutes later.

I got another one, but this time it's not so offensive.

This really happened this wednesday. I was returning home from a gym and I was walking from the bus stop to home, when suddenly a girl about my age came from a house with her bike. She stopped me and asked if I still remembered an old friend of mine, who left our country and went back to Philippines, about 5-6 years ago. I said of course and she told me she was his cousin and that he (my friend) was coming over to her house that day. She said to me that I could visit them if I wanted to, as this friend of mine had tried to visit me, but I happened to be outside at the moment.
Personally, I don't really like the idea of visiting someone's home to see an old friend, if I didn't know anyone living there, so I asked her to tell this friend of mine to visit me some time. After that we said goodbyes and I continued walking home.

The weirdest thing about this was that I have no idea who this girl is. I'm pretty sure she never went to same school than I did. I don't even know how she recognized me to be a friend of this Phillippenean. I mean seriously: I don't look like I looked about 5-6 years ago and I think I have never seen that girl before. This is too creepy... But it would be nice to see this friend of mine again.

So, three months passed and I saw this girl yesterday too on my way home. She said hello to me at a bus stop and since she lives near me, we took the same bus and left it on the same stop. I still have no idea who she is so you can believe it was pretty awkward. I got to know that she was in my school but I still have no idea who she is and I was too embarrased to ask her. Well, she said this friend of mine has a driving lisence now, so THEY could pick me up for a ride. I'd love to see this friend of mine again, but I'm worried it would be more awkward if she was there too. At least because I don't even have any idea of her name!

And sorry for bumbing this thread. I just loved this one and that was pretty awkward...

So you know how school buses haven't got any seat belts on them?

Well I'm riding to school and we have this complete loon for a bus driver that year--and me, I'm still hovering round in 4' territory even in middle school, and didn't weigh a whole lot either.

So I'm reading quietly, and the loony bus driver goes full speed over the biggest speed bump you've ever seen in your life. I was sent flying out of my seat and across the aisle.

Of course, I ended up landing with my face planted directly in the lap of the one boy I had been harboring a huge crush on at the time. Obviously, I pretty much never spoke to him again.

(What could I have said, anyway? "Hey, I know we're both too young for this sort of thing and not dating anyway, but man, thanks for the view the other week"?)

I know. The thing is that I don't have any idea how she could remember me. I mean, it's almost 4 years since we were in the same school and I believe I have never spoken to her before. It might be that this friend of mine told her about me as he was my best friend at the time but I still find it pretty weird. But it was nice to talk to her although I have no idea of who she was.

@PoisonInkbottle: When did that happen? I believe it would be pretty difficult to spoke to someone after things like that..

Sorry for what happened, but that is just awesome! LOL!! Dyin over here.

This happened this past summer, we have a groundhog problem since there somewhat destroying the yards around the neighborhood. So this guy living on the street decided he would catch them. Well he did catch some of them, mostly the babies first. I didn't know what to do with some of them, but we couldn't let them go back into the holes so I thought we going to take them to some other far out neighborhood and dump them there. So after a few hours after he caught them, I hear these "THUNK" sounds coming from outside. I look out the window to see that this STUPID MUTHAFUCKER took a shovel *not a plastic one* and smashed the babies in the head killing them. I was horrified outta my mind, I wanted to kill him so badly for what he did.

My mother let him catch one more around our house, so when he caught another baby and he left him in this cage for over 3 days (Note* It was over 98 degrees F those 3 days). I wanted to let it go so badly but almost everyone was telling me not to do it. Well I did let the cage open put it was to weak to move and I could see it looking at me breathing so hard trying to move and it died. That hurt me to my soul.

But wait!! This stupid MF'er who caught the babies (Note* He caught one of the parents and killed it somewhere in a wooded area some miles away) left there dead bodies in the trash can in our backyard!! So for about 2 weeks it just smelled like death. I hate him for life.

-All go inside after the bell rings-
:eh?: : Teacher, this pen isn't working.
:oldbag: : This isn't a pen... someone needs to take this down to the nurse's office. *Chooses Matt* You do it.
:matt: : Okay... *Tries to take it down to the nurse's office, but vomits on the way there*

We later learned that that "pen" that wouldn't click was actually a case for an "inner-uterary device." And that's the weirdest thing I ever found.

Kay, so I went to school in my favorite hoody,
then everyone started laughing.

Turns out my sisters panties somehow wound up in my hood.

SCARRING.

When I was eight years ago one of my friends was getting yelled at by a mentally disabled girl because of a ball, and I started to yell too . After recess I saw her flipping me off.

I was also attacked by a chicken later on.

I walked in on my parents sexin'.

... And that's it. Yeah, I don't even remember, since I was 3 or 4 at the time.
My only memory from that time is skipping from 99 to 1,000.

This topic= full of win. HAHA.

So anyway, one day I was walking to school, and about a block away from the school lay a wrapped condom. Well, when I was walking home, I saw the condom laying in the same area: unwrapped and USED.

I've found quite a few weird things, but none of them stands out in my mind as being the weirdest.
I'm willing to share some moments, though.
*The one time at Ocean City I found a huge, dead beached jellyfish with its tentacles missing. I was utterly fascinated by the thing. Apparently other, smaller jellyfish were washing up on shore in the same condition that day, and no one ever found out how it happened. Weird...
*A public-access show where this crazy guy dressed up as a Pharaoh, recited random Bible passages, and uttered nonsensical rants against a constantly changing psychedelic background. It was absolutely HILARIOUS. And the crazy thing is, THE SHOW'S STILL AIRING!!! He's changed his costume though.
*Hausu, a truly insane "haunted house" film by Toho from 1977. Unfortunatley there exists no version with subtitles :(
*Face Like A Frog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOptGLEOsJ8

As for most scarring? I watched a seagull die of heatstroke. :beef:

While my bus-seat incident was fairly traumatizing, I have NEVER had the misfortune to walk in on my parents--unlike a surprising number of you lot.

It's the little things in life that I'm grateful for.

I was much younger, like 10. I was at a sleep over at one of my friends house, and she (the girl whose house I was at) said that she made up a game and that we should play it. None of her family was there, and me and some other girls that were there agreed. I just thought it 'felt good'. I didn't know til her 15 year old brother walked in on us that the 'game' was sex. When asked where she got that from, her reply was:
"I saw mom and some other lady playing it! She said it was a game!"
Needless to say, I never went over there again, and the only people that know about it are me, her, the other girls, and her brother.

OblivionHold.... That's just awkward..............

Yeah... Anyway............

I haven't discovered too many awkward things.......

But when I was young, I was talking to my dad, and well, we don't bond to much, because I'm a gamer, and he's a sports nut whose process of a game is thus:

Start Game

Begin on Expert

Die 20 times

Complain that the button is too small/ screen is too small/ motion sensitive controller is too sensitivive

Anyway, I was trying to show an interest in his stuff, and his email was open. I saw the title "Catch of the Day" and said "Oh, who caught a fish?" and clicked it. It was a nude woman standing on a dock on a lake.

Him: You weren't supposed to see that...........

I thought I was dead right there. Just that "You weren't supposed to see that,"... after an awkward pause I left.

I also think that I found drugs in his office, and I hope I'm wrong, and I must have read the label wrong, but I think I found Marijuanna.

This has gotta scar you for life.

WARNING: SOME OF THE SOUND CLIPS IN THIS SITE ARE KINDA DISTURBING, IN FACT, I THINK I WILL PUT IT IN A SPOILER TAG TO PROTECT SOME PEOPLE.
Spoiler:

Apparently, some of those sound clips are pretty interesting, but ones like the exorcism or the Jim Jones one is creepy. I myself did not listen to the clips, because the comments convinced me not to.

Most scarring thing I ever saw:
Two guys from my old class came running into the classroom one day wearing leotards, tights, and tutus. That was so very disturbing in so many ways.

(However there is an explanation: They were trying on costumes for a school production. Although I would have to say that was the equivalent of a "wardrobe malfunction". Seriously, I think the teachers in charge of the play should have reconsidered that one. :pealshock: )
